Difficult to find anything really. It was a very warm apartment and we couldn't work out how to turn the heating down 🤦...we could have asked but to be honest we left early mornings and we're home late evenings and didn't want to disturb anyone so we opened the bedroom window which worked well.

A lovely, Immaculately clean apartment. Well equipped and all the little extras were very much appreciated, thank you! Bed was comfortable and we loved the electric lazy boy sofa which was so comfy and much needed after a few days of walking and climbing.

location was too quiet for us not much at St Bees however if you are looking for a quiet getaway to relax it’s perfect

I can't say thanks enough to the host. They were just amazing and really helpful with us. Even they manage to accommodate us 2 more night on another apartment. We stayed on the Methera and the whole apartment was really cosy and well distributed for 2 people. Really comfy beds for a great sleep. I will use this over and over again on all my stays in St Bees without doubt. 100% recommened.

Unfortunately we could hear the visitors in the adjacent apartment and they were quite loud and let their door slam a lot, including early in the morning - not the fault of the place though.

We stayed here as a base for the west of the Lake District and to visit the area on the coast. There isn't much in St Bees (though you can walk to the beach and into the RSPB coastal area) but you are 10 mins from Whitehaven or other areas. The apartment we stayed in was modern, with a large TV and sofa in the living area, kitchen with oven and dishwasher, and TV again opposite the double bed. The bathroom was modern also. Everything was clean and tidy. WiFi was strong and allowed streaming. We ate at the Queen's Hotel one evening, which is very close - they do great food and we also took part in the pub quiz. The apartment is metres from the platform of St Bees train station, but we didn't notice the trains much or hear them, including early in the morning.

Only thing we didnt like was having to leave and go home!

Beautiful, relaxing and comfortable self contained accommodation in the heart of St Bees. Very well furnished, very comfortable bed and spacious kitchen area. 10mins walk to the beach, which has a lovely stretch for walking the dogs, or 20 min drive to the lake district. Within a few minutes walking distance of local amenities, at least 4 welcoming pubs, small shop & post office and a very useful train station. Fabulous place to explore the coast and the lakes.

The accommodation is modern, clean and in a fantastic location just a short walk from the beach and in a lovely village and dog friendly. The owners were very friendly and extremely helpful. Thank you again.

Didn’t realise shared entry point when booked. Also lights in bathroom on timer so lights went off when having a shower. Could do with being on longer so don’t have to open shower door to wave arms to make lights come back on.

Good location near station, shop and pubs. Also 15 mins walk to the beach.

It wasn't very clear how we were supposed to check in. The email I received had a 'pin' code which I assumed meant there would be a lock that we had to collect the keys from, however in the email itself it also stated to 'collect the keys from B&B'. When we arrived, I went to the B&B but the door was locked and I tried calling the 2 phone numbers provided in my welcome email but they didn't pick up. So check in was a bit stressful and could have been clearer in the welcome email, but was fine in the end as we actually bumped into the host and they kindly explained that the door was unlocked. Also, heating in the room was strange - it might be underfloor heating but there were no radiators (except one in the bathroom) to be seen. When it was really cold we couldn't turn up the heating, and it seemed like the heating was automatically set to certain times. So when the heating was on, it was really hot!

The location was good and quite close to the sea so it was easy to go for a walk. Room was nice and clean, with a TV and kitchen. Bed was really comfy which is always a bonus.
