Set in the countryside, The Byre is a barn conversion with all the modern conveniences and good Wifi. It is a perfect base to explore Kent and Sussex. We were greated with fresh bread, eggs and bacon by the lovely owner. There is an outdoor seating area and the use of a washing machine.

Wi fi a bit dodgy. But that's all.

A great breakfast was provided for our own cooking in the kitchen, comprising of eggs, bacon and a loaf of fresh bread for toast etc. The location was perfect as we were attending a wedding at the Swallows nest just 2 minutes down the road by car. Accommodation was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Parking is on the property at the rear of the accommodation. We had a very warm welcome from Ann who gave us all the information we needed. A place to stay that I can very highly recommend 👌

    Nothing!!

Beautiful, quirky little cottage - bigger than what the pictures suggested. The host Ann was lovely and attentive, nothing was too much trouble and the gift of Ann’s homemade bread was a thoughtful gesture. Thank you.

only that the sofa was not so comfortable

The comfort and every little thing you might need has been bought about. Generous amount of food items left for me in the fridge and kitchen. Very unexpected.

    Nothing, absolutely nothing!

Very comfortable self-catering accommodation in a superb location. Lovely fresh bread and eggs provided on arrival. The perfect start to our tour around southern England. Our host, Anne, was delightful, and most helpful with ideas for trips. We really hope to return.

The Byre is clean and cosy and quiet location, with Ticehurst village walking distance. Look forward to returning soon.
