    There were no issues.

We stayed at The Buck Inn for one night on a weekend break. The staff were friendly and happy to help. The room was comfortable and quiet, with everything you need. Perfect place to explore the area from.

Breakfast was slightly minimal, slow service (seemed to be understaffed?) and didn't cater for non-dairy diets even with non-dairy milk or butter, and didn't intend to when asked about it. Surprised about this given the cost of the room. Something in the room set both of us off coughing and sneezing and feeling weird. It stopped when we left the room and started again when we came back. Maybe a chemical cleaner? Maybe mould? Room was also very hot with no temperature control

Excellent daytime food including vegan burger and great location.

Communication was non existent/ poor. Room was very small and smelt of fried food from the kitchen. Bathroom was jaded and tatty with a poor shower. Breakfast was slow, disorganised and not a good standard. The whole place is in need of a good clean and some maintenance.

Well located in the centre of Malham.

An early breakfast option would have been good. No breakfast until 8.30. Though the staff did find me a porridge pot and a couple of jam sandwiches to take with me when I left at 7am.

The room wasn’t clean, bits on the carpet, dust on the coffee facilities, mould in the top corner of the bedroom ceiling and on the tiles in the bathroom.

The pub felt a bit unloved. Cider limited to Strongbow. Gents loo 'out of order'. Bar area looked 'very tired'. Outside area needed alot of TLC. Weeds everywhere, planters included. Carpark had more potholes than not. Room was OK, but a few niggles re cleanliness, size and positioning of furniture. We ate at the other village pub, which had a totally different atmosphere, was well presented, well staffed and sold Aspalls cider, which always helps. We didn't get to see the rooms here but based on the downstairs wish we'd have booked here instead despite it being more expensive. Sorry!

    Location.

A longer slot for breakfast perhaps, and a bit more variety. Hotel seems dated and in need of upgrading . Bar was closed by about 8pm on Saturday night which seemed very early!
