I had booked a "superior" double room and the room we were allocated was quite small.

The breakfast and evening meal were good, the staff were friendly and helpful the room was attractively decorated and clean.

The noise from the road was terrible, my poor parents had virtually no sleep ! Really need to invest in better double glazing or something . Was next to a busy petrol station too ..

    Staff very helpful! Especially Chloe😍

Service was rushed and, though I hate to say it, rather surly. In fairness, the young girl at the bar (who also showed us to our room) seemed overworked and stressed. Not a great welcome. Location next to a petrol station not wonderful and could be improved by erecting barriers and trees or bushes,.

Room and bathroom extremely well-equipped and comfortable, Excellent breakfast. Convenient parking.

Room lacked shelving/drawer space. OK for a one night stay. Pillows rather bulky and firm. Bathroom lacked hooks and shelf near whb. Access to room via external door.

Good location to visit sites in the area. Easy walk into town centre. Good breakfast menu. Well cooked. Good service. Comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Interesting style of decor - French shabby chic. Room serviced daily during our stay. Good tea/coffee and use of a fridge.

The only point to raise was that the mattress in our room was a little uncomfortable. Maybe a thicker mattress topper would be a good idea.

The accommodation was tastefully decorated taking into account the age of the building and maximising the old features. Staff were friendly and helpful.

It was on main road and our bedroom was on that side of building so quite noisy.

Lovely warm welcome from Connor who showed us to our room and was there for breakfast every morning. Lovely small touches like a small bottle of milk, biscoff biscuits, chocolates and nice toiletries. We did eat there first night, but we were the only people in there. Food was cooked Lovely , hot and the staff very obliging.

Beautiful place, wonderful staff … some attention needed

The room was very warm even with turning the heating completely off and trying to fathom the AC. On moving the pillows the headboard fabric is in absolute bits and really does need attention. The kettle needs throwing away its way past being rescued by oust, the limescale is so bad. A green light similar to an emergency exit sign illuminated the room at night and also as the toilet is on a sensor and there are gaps in the lovely wooden door, once the toilet has been used again light illuminated the room at night.

This is such a pretty little place, shabby chic decor is right up my street. Our first impressions were great as we were met by a very friendly, welcoming member of staff. Food was great . Right next door is a petrol station which is actually quite handy if you fancy grabbing snacks or drinks for your room. There’s a fantastic selection of teas in the room, fresh milk and waters in the fridge.

Only a small thing - the pillows were very firm. Personal preference is a softer pillow. Maybe one firm and one softer would be a good idea. Nothing else.

Perfect location for the theatre in Aylesbury and Waddesdon Manor. The room was beautifully decorated, with good quality bedding, and supplied with everything you needed. Toiletries of good quality, bathroom and shower excellent, loved having a fridge with fresh milk. Our room was very quiet. Little noise from a very busy road. Staff were very approachable and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely stay.
