To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomWeekend staff (morning) were abrupt and rude. Did not (or seemed not to) listen to us, behind the bar and reception staff we were ignored and they walked away from us. Young male did when confronted at reception gave an apology stating he did not mean to be that way or come across that way. But he did not apologise first until we raised the issue.
Saturday staff (managers) was very welcoming and helpful. Short staffed but she and on roster staff worked hard to make all welcome. Bar overflowing due to cup football match but as I stated staff worked hard and fast to keep the area running smoothly. Over all a fair stay over the two days but young staff need to have more customer training or guidance.

United KingdomThis is a lovely pub with well catered for rooms. The breakfast was buffet and very nice with staff being very helpful. The food for dinner was nice but the buffalo chicken would be better with a sauce in dipping style than poured over as it was a bit overbearing. The room was nice and well equipped. The toilet roll holder being placed above the toilet so it's behind you was a bit odd but there is a reason I'm sure. Staff were friendly and there is a Morrisons directly over the road and an Aldi up the road so not much more could be asked of for the location.

United KingdomThe breakfast. Also better lighting system within the public toilets in the restaurant area. Took my child to the loo and we were the only ones there. Lights completely went out and in darkness!! I assume it was the sensors so spent a few seconds waving arms around. Spent several minutes trying to get back to the main door feeling around too see if that helped while having a very upset child on the loo panicking. Fortunately lights came on eventually. But the fact it was pitch black in there was very frightening for a 5 year old.
Simple, clean and tidy room / bathroom. Breakfast was basic and limited and unfortunately I didn't like it. It was very luke warm and wasn't keen on the quality of the breakfast either.
