To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe breakfast. Also better lighting system within the public toilets in the restaurant area. Took my child to the loo and we were the only ones there. Lights completely went out and in darkness!! I assume it was the sensors so spent a few seconds waving arms around. Spent several minutes trying to get back to the main door feeling around too see if that helped while having a very upset child on the loo panicking. Fortunately lights came on eventually. But the fact it was pitch black in there was very frightening for a 5 year old.
Simple, clean and tidy room / bathroom. Breakfast was basic and limited and unfortunately I didn't like it. It was very luke warm and wasn't keen on the quality of the breakfast either.

Dinner only available to 1800 and limited menu that had been hanging around since lunchtime. I know it was Sunday but if people are staying they need to be able to eat at a reasonable time. Breakfast poor. Limited selection both cooked and not cooked, scrambled egg a solid block after hanging around for an hour or more, though you could order freshly cooked eggs, and only instant coffee unless you paid extra for proper coffee which is simply not good enough.
Friendly and helpful staff a definite plus. Good selection of beer in bar. Room reasonably comfortable. Location good. Parking good.

IsraelBring asked in an accusatory tone every morning if I'd paid for breakfast. After about 4 days I asked for the room to be vacuumed. This never happened. I was told I had a room reserved but when I enquired about this they were fully booked and I had to find alternative accomodation at very short notice.
The location is excellent, a morrisons across the road and takeaways galore nearby. Most of the staff were very helpful. Particularly the guy who booked me in late at night.

United KingdomThe hallway stank of stale cigarette smoke. The acoustics, of selfish guests slamming doors early or late. No sound proofing. I realise neither of the above is the fault of the staff.
Kindly allowed me to leave the car on day of checkout, so I could go to a convention at the ICC. It’s an easy walk to the local Bourneville station, that heads directly into the city. It saves in the nightmare of city parking with most of it now pedestrianised.

The staff were very friendly lovely and nice and welcoming, they even went the extra mile when there was a mistake with drinks as there was a problem when pouring pepsi. Also really loved the 20% discount for main meals for those who are staying.
