Would have loved more vegan options for food - yoghurt and cereals and more fruit for breakfast would have been great. Lunch only had one option which was battered banana, which although tasty, I would have much preferred some healthier options. Do expect some noise from the pub downstairs as very noisy through the ceiling until 10.30pm - to be expected when staying at a pub, but noting for those planning an early night, you may not get to sleep straight away!

Lovely rooms, both with sea views and in excellent condition. Friendly staff. Good location right opposite the beach and walking distance into Ryde.

No view from our room other than the car park but we didn’t mind. But next time we’ll ask for one with a view.

The breakfasts were amazing! The bathroom with our room made up for the tight spaces in the room. We really enjoyed the radio, strangely. We never listen to the radio and yet loved hearing it here. Evening meals were gourmet! We ate here three times!

We were in room 402 which we were disappointed with. There was an odd collection of furniture which didn't fit the room, I had to complain about the dead flies and cobwebs around the windows which clearly pointed out the room hadn't been cleaned properly, the bathroom needed updating and the mould around the shower tray was extensive. The toilet flush handle was ready to collapse. We were so disappointed as the views from the room were lovely.

The breakfasts were good but it was an odd choice of having Duck on the menu for breakfast. We felt it was over fancy. Dinner was expensive for what we had. Once again some odd choices on the menu.

There was a drain smell particularly in the bathroom. The breakfast service was extremely slow and the standard of breakfast was very average.

Clean comfortable room. Plenty of parking and the WiFi was good. Very nice toiletries. Nice sea view and quiet location. The staff were friendly.

Literally only two negatives. The toilet in our room didn’t flush properly and there was always a gap in the curtains as they didn’t seem to close fully.

The views were beautiful, you could see the beach from the bed and could hear the waves crashing. Also nice that there’s a restaurant and bar below.

Curtains in bedrooms needed attention as were too loose and so let in too much light. Toilet needed plenty of pumps to flush properly. Breakfast menu was a bit too fancy and took a long time to cook. . Fruit and breads on breakfast menu didn’t appear. Had to ask for toast as it wasn’t ever offered.

Location. Evening food menu was great for choice. Rooms were pretty and clean with a great view. Bed was fine.

Beds were too soft for my liking - I like my mattresses firm. The cups weren't cleared away from our room & the water wasn't replaced, but it was very quickly resolved by the Manager (Rob) who was fantastic.

Lovely place - food was exceptional & staff friendly & helpful. We chose it as a base for a few days while we were on the Island to be able to clear out my late aunt's flat - it was a 5 minute drive away. Our room had a spa bath, which was a lovely extra as we were aching at the end of each day after clearing the flat

There were a couple of little things like no toilet roll in the room, a glass left in the room, and the bath needing plunging but that didn't bother us, we loved it.

The parking is limited but just enough. For the summer the blinds may need to be a touch thicker.

The breakfast was fabulous, the food quality was great and the coffee very strong (how I prefer it). The pub food during the evening was excellent and the choice of beverages was great.
