We were above the pub but you couldn't really hear the speakers too much. The issue was the street noise which was very audible, although if a couple hadn't been having an argument in the street at 2am, we wouldn't have had any issues at all. There was some very obvious damp damage above the bay window but it didn't impact our stay. There was no mould or anything like that, just a large water stain.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly, explained everything to us really well and made sure we fully understood the keys etc. The room was clean and had everything we needed, didn't have to ask for anything. Good central location. I might have marked down facilities as there wasn't any breakfast offered - but that was absolutely fine for our stay, thought I imagine some people may want that option. However there was ironing boards, hairdryer, a fridge, coffee and tea facilities. Was able to pay on arrival which was great.

was above a pub and noisy till late, very unprofessional checking in at the bar and having to people playing pool to get to your room, was ok for me as working and got there late and left early but wouldn’t recommend for families.

never do reviews but this I thought was worth mentioning the landlady who runs this pub single handed is the most loveliest woman ☺️ she asked if the music was to loud for my children,if they were comfortable,did the Wi-Fi work ok for them couldn’t have done enough

A bit noisy with the karaoke and the other guests on a Saturday night, but I guess it is a pub after all. All noise stopped around 11pm though when the pub shut and the other guests had gone to bed.

Excellent location, a comfortable and nice room, and friendly and helpful staff. I had surfboards with me and Michelle kindly offered to store them in a room in the pub.

even though there was a note about noise from the bar and we were warmed on arrival it might be loud, we were on the top floor so didn’t cause any real issue.

Drains smelt in the bathroom mainly coming from the shower plug. There was very loud noise from the rooms above us all weekend could hear footsteps, banging and shouting late at night and very early in the morning. Our room was directly above the beer garden so could also hear everything going off outside also which kept us up til late, not the best when your both sober but can’t be helped as it is a pub.

We came for a nice relaxed weekend. The hotel was in a great location and had shops nearby. The room was lovely, modern and clean. Basic but had a mini fridge, tea and coffee facilities and the tv had sky and netflix which was a nice addition as we came back to the room earlier on in the night with me being pregnant. The bed was very comfy and warm. There was also a fan in the room which was handy.
