Our room had a wet room and the floor was sloped in slightly the wrong direction so we ended up with a large puddle every day. Which seemed to be slightly unavoidable. First night of our stay we were unable to get a table at the restaurant because it was too busy, so had to go elsewhere. Lots of places close by to go to instead.

We had booked a medium-sized sea view room. And we were blown away by the size of the room, the view and the furnishing and how comfortable it was. Felt like our own little apartment! Chromecast feature on the tv was a nice touch. Along with the other advertised amenities- cinema room etc. we made use of the free cake at 4pm- was great both days we were here. And the self-serve hot drinks in the lounge was a brilliant idea. Breakfast had a better selection than most continental and definitely didn’t feel like we were missing a full English. Staff were all warm and friendly. We had one evening meal which was great- lovely atmosphere, food was very quick and all delicious. Perfect location for coastal walks, or just enjoying the sea view from bed with a cup of tea. Can’t wait to come back.

We like a nice cold pint after a walk when we are on holiday. There is no draft beer at all only bottles/cans. Plenty of dog friendly pubs nearby though. Food a bit expensive for what it is but what you get is served with a smile. Bedrooms are stifling hot even with radiator turned off. Windows don’t open more than an inch or two. We stayed in February on the 3 rd floor I think it would be very uncomfortable in the summer.

Perfect hotel for dog lovers/owners. Dogs are allowed everywhere! We had the best time. Parking is free on road with a permit. Just be aware this may not be outside the hotel but we did get a space in the vicinity every time we went out.

It’s not very sound proof, which didn’t bother us humans, but my dog was a bit unsettled hearing the floor boards and the doors through out the night. I wouldn’t bother with the £13 pp buffet breakfast the next day either. Nothing special!

The room was gorgeous and very clean. Bed linen was super comfortable and bed was good quality. Ensuit was nice. Very dog friendly, there was a dog bed and new dog ball waiting for us! Mini bar was a great added extra!

Our room was a little small, a fight to squeeze past the bed in the night! Also, I get it’s coastal, however, if I’d had a shotgun I’d have popped off a couple of gulls at 6am! Not only do they wake you up, they take pleasure in “unloading” on your car all day and night.

Although we understand this is a dog friendly hotel, we felt that dogs shouldn't be allowed in the dining area. There were a lot of dogs, some quite yappy and we felt unable to relax and enjoy our breakfast. We feel there should be a maximum number of dogs allowed in the hotel at any one time and that some areas should be dog free. We really liked the hotel but wouldn't stay here again for that reason.

Shower drained far too slowly. Was worried about flooding room but left early so no one available to inform.
