Very little to complain about, but a bit more of a warm selection at breakfast would be nice eg beans and sausages or similar

Trendy hotel in a great location. Very good spot & parking (in street) outside with a voucher included. Although it’s an old traditional building, it’s been completely redecorated inside in a trendy theme. The rooms as well as the bar area are very nice. Good views over the bay and can easy walk to the town centre or sea in a few mins. Very good hotel and nice staff. Breakfast was fairly good with a continental style buffet with a couple of warm items too

Staff were great. Breakfast lovely plenty to choose from. Easy access to Shops and sea front . Had problem with room but Kath hotel manager dealt with it promptly.

The only down side in my opinion was the self check in! There was always someone there at reception to help which is great and I completely get with the style of hotel it is why it is this way but I guess I’m just used to the more personal touch.

Looking from the outside I questioned whether or not I chose the best hotel to stay at as it looks quite rough but was pleasantly surprised upon walking in! I mainly stayed here for the price and location (from looking on google maps). The room was great and location was ideal! Just a short walk into town and down to the beach, bus stops and train station all within walking distance which was great! So many places to eat as well within walking distance! Also loved all the dogs and how dog friendly this place is. If I didn’t live in Australia ai would have lived to have brought my pup 🐶

Not having to pay for funicular! Repair to 2 very worn chair arms in front longe area.

Friendly staff - free cake and coffee - dog washing facilities and the cinema. Location great - easy access to beach via funicular. Free voucher from hotel, for using funicular would be a fantastic bonus!

Bathroom needed redecorating. If the room had had double glazing it would have helped dull the noise of roosting seagulls outside our bedroom window, whose incessant screeching kept us awake during the night.

We were late so all close and limited number parking spaces full. Odd low hung agricultural style basins trendy but not very useable in the bathroom

Great position, fantastic large room with amazing see views. Restaurant, but nice lounges with free coffee. Friendly and helpful staff - even the cleaner gave some really good tourist advice!

Poor access to hotel for disabled visitors. Poor breakfasts, expensive for very basic breakfasts. No means of warming croissants

Hotel was great, perfect location for us getting to Scarborough Spa. Staff really friendly and helpful. Room was a good size. Bag storage offered after check out. Booked again for next year!

Parts of the property are quite tired due to it being quite an old building, which is understandable, but busier times of year may be less comfortable due to the old lifts/lots of stairs. Worth noting the lift is very very small.

Fantastic facilities, friendly staff and brilliant location. Beds were really comfy and our room was a good size (loft mini suite). The dog grooming facilities were amazing and made it so easy to sort out a dirty puppy from the beach!

Shower room/toilet was really small and pretty cramped. We're not a big couple but I think we'd struggle being much bigger. TV remote wasn't working.

The room and hotel got very hot in the evening so we had to have the room fan on every night.

The location is great and the hotel is very dog friendly. The beds were very comfy and our sea view was great.
