The extra £35 charge for the dog wasn’t very clear on booking.

Great staff, the free coffee was delicious. Fantastic place to take the dog on a short break! Dogs really are welcomed.

So the room this time was a bit tight and bathroom even more so - so I’d think twice about booking a Boot room again - also no way to keep window open and v warm and stuffy - pillows v lumpy and not supportive and need replacing - some of the furniture starting to look v shabby and needs replacing - room doors with auto closers clunk shut v loudly which is a nightmare from 7-9am - also lots of noise in back alley between 5-6am on two days - so not as great as prior trips but I’d still stay here as hotel of choice in Scarbo! 👍

Mattress a little too hard, could do with air con as room stifling hot, tv did not work, but these were only minor issues

The breakfast was excellent,especially the little yogurt pots, bacon cooked to perfection, and so much choice. Love the coffee and cake at 4pm, liked the coffee maker in room

The automated check-in facility did not work smoothly, and help was needed from the manager. She was infact very agreeable indeed.

Great location, friendly staff, homely feel about the place. Great food and facilities. I love the dog-centric attitude, and I will come back again with family and friends + more fur children.

The bathroom smelt a little bit and the heating in the room made it really warm when we didn’t turn it on so I wouldn’t want to see it on a summer day but apart from that everything was spot on!

The entrance door needs a suspension arm on it to stop it slamming There’s a flood light from the building behind the hotel that lit up the room. Wouldn’t stop me from returning..

Warm welcome, quirky and fun room and the hotel is a central location. Had a parking permit which saved us some money.

Great view of South Bay beach from our room. The staff were very relaxed and welcoming to us and our dog. The dog wash in the basement is fantastic and there’s a bike wash too! A really good idea for a hotel. Oh and free cake every afternoon!

Not having a reception desk felt like there was something missing. An option for self check in/out plus a desk for queries would be good. The lift next to our room was quite noisy, earplugs were needed. A parking permit for those storing luggage and staying in Scarborough on check-out day woukd have been a bonus.

Everything was fantastic, staff lovely, even the cleaner went out of her way to be super helpful and informative. We were allocated the disabled room 102 so had lots of space. The relaxing lounge with free drinks was also lovely to enjoy, and if I return with my boy we will use the cinema room.

Lumpy pillows!

Properly dog friendly. Loved the cake and drinks machine in an afternoon. Great walk to beach and the woodland garden walkway by hotel was handy for evening toileting for our dog. Adored the decor, very clever theme.

Nothing at all wrong with the property everything was spot on. Apart from in the morning we had a knock on our door around 9.30am assuming it was housekeeping then again another knock at 10.30am to which I was getting dressed and collecting our things to go when check out is 11am… surely would it not be better for staff to have a system in place to check downstairs which rooms have been vacated then housekeeping can be notified which rooms are empty and can clean.

Great location and Free parking was an added bonus!
