Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThey crammed a third bed in so no access to wardrobe or chest of drawers. There was no lift to our room and they said it was a budget room although no mention of this when I booked The breakfast cereal option was no good for my 30 yr old daughter who has a nut intolerance and only normally eats cereal for breakfast. The 3 options all contained nuts and when I asked if they could provide an alternative that was not understood so I gave up. As a consequence my daughter only ate breakfast on last day when her sister encouraged her to have some sausage and mushroom.

United KingdomBathroom was a little run down and needed a refresh but I'd definitely stay here again for the same price. Breakfast was fine, not a huge spread but everything that we had was cooked well & very tasty.
For £75 for one night, can't complain! Room was comfy enough with plenty of extra bedding etc in case we needed it. Enough clean towels and complimentary toiletries in the room. Staff were friendly and helpful and clearly cared about the place. I liked that the room came with a written guide.
