Nothing to dislike about the property or the Hosts.

The location is a very good, lovely & rural but not too far out of the City. Despite being virtually under the flight path for John Lennon airport, it was quite relaxing watching the planes landing and was far distracting or inconvenient. The purpose built rooms were perfect we had Room 4. Everything you need is provided and was very clean. Buffet style breakfast items along with other snacks ,tea , coffee were perfect. We were greeted by Gary who is very genuine ,caring and passionate about his business. Nothing was too much trouble and his offer of assistance for transportation was a fabulous gesture. We met Jenny who like Gary was a very genuinely nice host and we were made to feel like family. Would very definitely recommend the Barn as a place to stay. We will absolutely be staying again when next in Liverpool.

The room was spacious and very clean . The host were friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet in the room was enough to start the day . Peaceful surroundings, I had an enjoyable stay .

The accommodation was spotlessly clean, and the bed was comfortable. It was a pretty location, and they keep alpacas. Gary was a very helpful host - he gave me details of a lovely walk and sightseeing locations. He even gave me his number and said to call if I needed picking up from the pub.

Everything was great, from arrival to exit. The owners were engaging, helpful and respectful. Nothing was too much trouble. The location, for me, was excellent, peaceful and secure. When I next go back to Liverpool I will be looking here first. Very happy, many thanks.

There was nothing I didnt like about the whole experience.

Beautiful location, it isnt really affected the noise from the airport as much as I thought it might be. Its close enough to the city while still feeling like its in the countryside. The room is a good size and very well presented, super clean feel with everything you would need in a BnB. Bathroom facilities were more than acceptable, again very clean throughout, it all looks brand new. I really cant fault the room at all, there is a lovely garden you can sit in, or there is the decking outside your room with table and chairs. The parking is gated, all very secure and off the road. I will be going back in the future.

I regularly stay in Liverpool for my work and came across this gem of a place a couple of years ago. Love it here. It's got a rural feel but very close to the airport, very friendly hosts, nice welcome and then you have privacy, great rooms and the free continental breakfast with tea and coffee set up in your room (which has a fridge) is a real bonus. Free parking, microwave, so all in all great value, Very accommodating to my gluten-free needs too!

The choice of cereals, yoghurt, fruit and cereal bars for breakfast was good but I was slightly disappointed there were no options for a cooked breakfast or toast.

It was exactly as described, on the outskirts of a nice village. The accommodation was very comfortable and clean, and the managers friendly and helpful.

The whole place was lovelyl and the owner was amazing. She even picked me up when I got a bit lost on the way there. It's very clean and well catered and the grounds are beautiful. As a solo traveller, it felt safe, and I will be visiting again.
