All the staff were attentive, polite and helpful. Our room was amazing and exceptionally comfortable. We had lunch on two days and the tomato and red pepper soup was delicious. Breakfast was varied and again service exceptional.

Arriving late afternoon on Sunday meant too late for afternoon tea and the hotel does not offer food any evening. Fortunately there were some good quality restaurants who were open Sunday evenings. No problem on other weekdays, Norwich has innumerable tea rooms, cafes and restaurants offering different cuisines at varying levels of price and quality.

Room was spacious, comfortable bed, well equipped and bathroom was very clean with plenty of towels and toiletries.The hotel is excellently situated for access to the whole city with free parking behind. Excellent plentiful choices for breakfast.

The mattress was extremely soft. It really needs replacing, when either of us moved the other moved too. I complained and asked for a move but no other rooms were available. Fair enough though the sofa bed was made up so we could get a better nights sleep. We were in room 10 and is up several flights of stairs.

The building is stunning. Our room was very spacious and the bathroom was gorgeous. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. There was a wedding party at the hotel and this caused delays in service to us. Unfortunate but weddings are planned well in advance and extra staff should have been hired so the other dining residents weren’t left waiting….

No lounge for residents to relax in - it felt like rooms and a breakfast room rather than a hotel

Beautiful colours and decor. Our room was stunning and spacious. The toiletries were lovely and generous. Tea and coffee in room excellent. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb.

Breakfast was included and was great. Bath was lovely in the room... could have done with some bubble bath in the room... apart from that it was wonderful.

Would have liked a stool to be able to sit in front of mirror to apply make up. Slight cleaning issue in corner of shower. One of the pull down blinds wasn't working but this wasn't an issue as there were double blinds at window.

Fantastic location, able to walk to all our destinations within 15-20 minutes. So good to just park up and not have to go out in car. Staff were amazing, helpful and friendly. Lovely to sit out in front of hotel to have drinks. Some outside building work on hotel didn't affect stay.

Beautiful hotel, very nice to sit in the garden for lunch or tea, spacious room and bathroom, there was even a nice balcony with table and chairs. Extremely attentive and friendly personnel. A perfect stay!

Breakfast was a little disappointing (lukewarm poached egg that was overdone) but nice coffee. Otherwise, no other issues.

Great location in the centre of Norwich but still lovely and quiet on room. Beautiful decorated rooms with top quality bedding, decor, fittings - everything basically. Staff absolutely lovely, friendly, happy to help and chat.

I honestly could not fault a thing. Considering the whole place was extremely busy with lots of different events this did not impact on our stay or service.

A great place to stay. I was surprised how quiet it was at night. Room 10 was amazing…. It was a mini suite even had air con in the bedroom and exceptionally clean. Food and drinks were being serviced on the front lawn, no booking required. The savoury tea was delicious. Breakfast was included in the room price. Plenty of choice from the buffet counter and from the menu.

It was just a shame that breakfast finishes at 9.30 for the breakfast bar items as that was a little early for us. I appreciated that we were still able to order from the menu though.
