You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomI couldn't have asked for a better stay - Sue was an exceptional host and her property is immaculate, comfortable and well-located. Sue made me feel very welcome and made some great recommendations. The bed is comfortable, the room is well-appointed, the area is close to everything, but very peaceful. And the bath was an absolute treat! Hastings is wonderful, and this was genuinely one of the nicest mini-breaks I've ever had. Thank you, Sue.

The room matches the photo, and in reality it looks even better: spacious and very cozy, lots of daylight. Sue is not only a pleasant and kind person, but also a very talented artist; we spent the whole holiday admiring her works in the house. Special attention for quality sleep thanks to a very comfortable mattress and pillows.

The host was immediately very communicative and friendly throughout our stay. The room was exceptional - perfect size for a couple, very clean, bright and modern. The bathroom was very much the same. Property is a short walk from Hasting station and town centre. Could not not fault this accommodation.
