Neighbouring apartments can be heard easily when noise levels rise. Plumbing system can wake people up.

Location was very picturesque, amenities were close by and easily accessible. Good sized room and bathroom. Modern bathroom and very clean.

The room did get very warm, even though there was an air Conditioning unit! We kept the curtains closed as we had a couple lovely warm sunny days and this did help to keep the room cool whilst we were out during the day

The room was compact, cute, comfortable, tastefully decorated but adequate for our needs. We were pleasantly surprised at how lovely it was - the pictures don’t do it justice really. We almost had a harbour view too! It is perfectly located for exploring the beautiful harbour and was perfect us being a stones throw from our favourite restaurant Kota - highly recommend eating here, particularly the tasting menu - stunning. Also The Square do THE most delicious fish and chips, deffo worth a try too!

The appalling attitude of Porthleven holiday cottages. We live in Cornwall. We booked here for a specific event. DO NOT give your money to these people. They couldn't care less about their customers. Just money orientated

A lovely, nicely appointed room and bathroom, all very clean and well-presented. Great location in Porthleven allowing us to wander around the town and visit the harbour and lots of eating places.

The plumbing was incredibly noisy, making it impossible to flush the toilet in the night without waking the whole house. Any water used made a horrendous noise. There is no mirror near a plug socket for drying hair. The wardrobe is a child's size so impossible to hang a dress. The room faces East and gets the morning sun but there are no shade blinds, only curtains, that held in the heat and excluded light and air, so on a lovely sunny morning it was an oven. The room also overlooks a terrace that is for everyone's use, so privacy is an issue.

The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable.

Location and layout. Perfect on our bike tour as we were able to store our bikes on the outside terrace upstairs. Refreshing decor. Comfortable. Easy access.

Location was good (close proximity to everything), room was clean and nice. However, do not stay here if you would like a good nights sleep. It wasn’t even warm the night we stayed (less than 20 degrees) yet the room was SO HOT - neither of us slept, so dread to think what it’s like when its warmer outside. Neither of us can understand why / how the room is so hot, even opening the window didn’t change that. Such a shame as the room was nice but we had such an awful nights sleep. Porthleven is also very dead and we didn’t think the area was very nice (quite run down), not many restaurants etc open, but this might be different in peak season when the sun is shining!

The location near the harbour is perfect. Before arrival, you get a message on how to get the key. Everything worked out perfectly. The room was comfortable and clean.

It’s self service so after a long day walking the coast path it’s nice to just get in and relax. Lovely room just behind the harbour. Handy for everything in Porthleven and peaceful good nights sleep.
