Exceptional standard of accommodation. The small touches made the difference and the quality of finish was superb. A great warm welcome, even though we were early for check in. Very comfortable beds and plenty of hot water. The owners obviously have experience of accommodation requirements and have paid attention to the details that make all the difference when staying.

Room was a bit small and no wardrobe space. We only stayed one night but the lack of space would have been an issue had we stayed longer.

View out the back of the property is a bit industrial but that can’t really be helped.

Rooms were nicely decorated and had everything you need. Great location, just a short walk to the beach and the centre of town and good value for money when compared to other accommodation in the town.

Slight niggle was that you could hear the TV in other rooms but it wasn’t too obtrusive.

Spotlessly clean, felt like a brand new property as it was immaculate. Really comfy beds, good quality linen and the bonus free fridge contents were a lovely surprise. Location was excellent too, a stone’s throw from the center. Highly recommend this hotel.

it was nice to have snacks in the room but not too good to see one of those expired about 2 months before (maybe it is still ok to eat). Also one of the towels was not clean - can see a brown mark on there.

A few minor things, very happy with the fruit and biscuits and the coffee and tea making facilities provided in the room but as the hotel doesn't have a restaurant a microwave in a would have allowed us to make a limited form of breakfast in the room

There was nothing to dislike about it . We had a small issue with a smell coming from the bathroom but as soon as we raised it with reception , they were there right away and dealt with it.

The room we had was lovely. It’s a shame it was raining as we had access to a private garden which would be lovely on a sunny day. There was a coffee machine in the hallway and a fruit bowl which were free to use. In the room there was also a few complimentary snacks in the mini fridge which was a lovely touch.

Asked for parking as important on Booking.com only to find it was street parking and no places available when we were checking in.

Only minus was no private parking, but this was to be expected given the location with a small town. Plenty of street parking, some free but you will probably need to be lucky or patient to get a space etc ....

Exceptional room with nice classy touches throughout. Complimentary items in the fridge were well above what you would normally get. Brilliant location in Centre of St Andrews

The Murray Suite was on the ground floor and faced on to the street so there was intrusive noise from passers-by into the early hours of the morning.

We liked everything about our stay, no negatives.

The property is well situated, and immaculately clean. Facilities are good, complimentary chocolate, soft drinks was a bonus. On street parking, but not guaranteed.

The communal hall way and doors/floors are quite echoey so light sleepers were woken up by guests coming in after 11pm (who were clearly trying to be quiet).

Rooms are stylish, very clean and bed very big and comfortable. Appreciated the snacks and drinks in the room - much nicer than most hotels and a nice touch. Great location near to everything. Staff v helpful and super-responsive to messages.
