The only negative comment was that a green LED emergency exit light was placed within the room above the door, which initially was an issue when attempting to sleep. Don't think I experienced such lighting during past visits, as normally this form of lighting within accommodation is located within the hallway and not within the room itself.

Stayed at this property previously and as expected visit met expectations. Room was both clean and comfortable with all standard facilities supplied. Food was excellent i.e both dinner and breakfast. Staff also very friendly and welcoming.

A kettle

Brilliant manager never met such friendly staff food was fantastic but the only disappointment was that there wasn’t a kettle in the room but a coffee espresso type machine that had a mouldy coffee pod in it which put us off making a drink apart from that faultless stay

Fan could do with a clean and windows wouldn't stay open,if being picky.

Staff were fantastic and very welcoming. Dinner was very tasty and well cooked and presented well. Breakfast was superb and included in the B&B price which was very reasonable at £130 a night through Booking.com Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Great surroundings and has a very nice garden area out the back. Very nice shops locally to browse and All in all, a great stay for our 19th Wedding Anniversary. A charming little hotel, clean and comfortable rooms, lovely and welcoming staff. We had a delicious breakfast and an evening meal at the restaurant. The delightful garden, where you can enjoy a few drinks or a meal in good weather is an added bonus. Definitely would stay there again, next time we visit.

No one thing to say negatively about the entire hotel

From the minute we got there the staff went above and beyond to make our stay as wonderful as it was!!! The food and service was exceptional!! We have already booked another stay at the Angel and bringing friends xxx

Kettle in our room wasn’t so great, you had to hold the button down for it to boil - but a minor issue. Staff were advised when we checked out.

Lovely cute hotel in prime location for visiting Burford town centre. Staff were really friendly & accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Our room (1) was spacious & had everything needed for a night or two away. The garden out back was lovely, plenty of seating to enjoy the sunshine. We’d definitely visit again.

location was great and the staff friendly and helpful, we were able to get parking in same street as the angel later in the afternoon. The room was spacious and clean The bed was comfortable, and we had a good nights sleep. There was a bit of noise from downstairs in the evening, but it didn't bother us. The breakfasts were excellent, and we ate in both nights and enjoyed both the food and service.
