The whole experience! We were enthusiastically welcomed by Ballal and felt at ease straight away. Our suite was spacious and decorated so well with a stunning view. The bathroom was huge. Breakfast was a real treat with home grown ingredients, home made granola and sour dough bread. It was hard to choose what to eat. Ballal and Robin are so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed and it made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay there again if we are ever in the area.

We booked this place as part of our trip to NC500. It was by far the best place we visited on the trip, The accommodation and hosts were fantastic and the breakfast was simply superb. Highlight of the trip.

Pure luxury in The Highlands! Staff were fantastic, with lots of information about the local area. Breakfast was wonderful, especially the porridge! Facilities superb, especially the outside jacuzzi! Fantastic local views. All in all a wonderful experience and highly recommended. I would love to come here again in the future.

I didn’t have a problem with it but for someone old/bad on feet/ carrying large suitcases on the stairs to the rooms can be difficult. That’s all, further is this place perfect.

This place is a dream. A plants and trees and flowers paradise (inside and outside). Quiet and safe. Renovated with a maximum of finesse and good taste. Even the TV can be set as a painting of your choice while not in functions. The room no 3 (ours) had as a surprise a brand new marmer bathroom with a comfortable jacuzzi for 2 and a separate shower. The light, fresh and healthy breakfast is served in a charming covered veranda by the owners themselves. They gave us very good tips as what to do next day and where to dine. When I forgot my little handbag by departure, they contacted me as fast as they found out and send it in my next hotel by post mail.

We had a really good stay in The Albannach. The owners are súper hosts who really care about your well being and going the extra mile for you in a relaxed way. Breakfast was superb. Best we had in a very long while staying in hotels etc. Our room was also very good and comfortable

Our suite was spacious and the hosts paid great attention to details that made the stay even more pleasant. The views over the bay are magnificent. The breakfasts are creative and delicious. The best rating cannot be enough for this exceptional property and hosts. We would love to visit again.

I booked this place for my parents and they had an amazing time. They repeated many times it was their favorite lodging during their travel in Scotland, how the house and garden were lovely. They had the suite but also mentioned the great house, breakfast, atmosphere. Also convenient to visit the places on the coast north / west.

This place was amazing! Both Ballal and Robin were friending, welcoming and very helpful. The room included a sitting room, king size bed and a stunning bathroom with marble counter tops. It was easy to walk into town for meals there are several walking paths that leave right from the B&B.

We had a long hard think and cannot think of anything that could be done better. The guys have set up a top class bed and breakfast establishment.

Breakfast was freshly prepared using lots of locally sources and/or homegrown ingredients. Interesting selections available, such as shakshuka, garden greens with a poached egg, sourdough pancakes, etc. The breakfast room was in a conservatory overlooking the lovely garden with views out to the mountains.

Nothing , it was excellent . We stayed in the Brye. It’s an annex next to the main house . It had a beautiful bathroom , a dressing room , separate bedroom and a small conservatory. The hot tub was great . Perfect relaxing break

Our stay at the Albannach was perfect in every way. Our hosts were passionate about what they do, and offered fantastic advice on activities in the area. The accomodation was decorated beautifully and located in such a peaceful part of Lochinver. The breakfast was the best we've had in Scotland, our host was a fantastic chef. We had such a wonderful stay that we'll be back for longer next time. Cannot recommend the Albannach more, it's a little bit of luxury in a wild and beautiful part of Scotland.

Truly there was nothing, everything, every detail was carefully considered.

The breakfast was great - generous, freshly cooked, inspiring, tasty. The view was remarkable and the location - close to Lockinver, meant that there were plenty of good places to eat in the evening. And of course the bathroom was outstanding.
