Lovely breakfast. Comfortable room. Location is a little bit out of the centre but that wasn't a problem for us. Good amenities nearby.

A couple of small things…we saw breakfast was £15 each but when we asked reception it was £20 (apparently you have to book online beforehand). We didn’t have any English Breakfast tea bags when we first arrived we asked reception if they could drop some by but none arrived until the next morning…also we ran out of shower gel and housekeeping didn’t fill it for 2 days.

Perfect location. Can walk into Cambridge centre or Uber if you want to! Lovely decoration. Had an executive king room which was nice and big and the bed was so comfortable.

No parking and local parking being permits or over costly

Well presented entrance, with unique and quirky on trend decor. Clean and tidy throughout hallways leading to rooms. Gives a feeling of expensive but affordable taste

My favorite hotel in Cambridge! We stayed in the executive room with balcony and it was just incredible. The most comfortable bed I slept on.

The bed was really comfortable, room was spacious and had everything we needed. Well decorated with attention to detail throughout the hotel and also very clean. Very happy with our stay, we would 100% stay there again and recommend the Clayton to anyone wishing to visit Cambridge

The hotel staff were lovely and so helpful. The room was beautiful and we received a complimentary room upgrade for our anniversary which made our stay extra special. Dinner and breakfast were amazing and great quality! Overall a lovely hotel and we will definitely be returning.

Lovely hotel, a feeling of calm and space. Room was spacious with a balcony. Very comfortable bed and a good shower. Particularly liked the library with the old books you could look through and plenty of comfortable sofas and chairs. Located very close to the train station and only 15-20 minute walk to the centre of Cambridge.

Slightly out-of-town hotel just two minutes' walk from Cambridge rail station. No particular character but lovely comfortable rooms with all necessary facilities and brilliantly placed for an early departure by train!

Two things (that I told the staff). In the bathrooms there are no soaps, but dispensers of soap. They didn't work correctly, so it was hard to use them for showers. Second, the king bed was very short!! I'm tall (but not that much) and most of my legs beneath my knees were outside the bed. I felt it strange since the bed was brand new and very large.

That's was my second time to the Clayton. I found it very good for Cambridge. Convenientely located near the station, the hotel is big, clean with rooms that are more than adequate to the price paid. Breakfast is fine and the staff is friendly. I suggest it.

Great location - close to train station and city centre. Really clean and modern. The room was immaculate. Loved the little touches like complimentary water and biscuits. Lots of room. Bed was lovely and comfortable.

The hotel was silent from the second we stepped in , the staff were very friendly. The room was a very good size , the bed was so comfortable, best night sleep I’ve had in a while. The bathroom was also very modern and spacious. Overall the room was super clean and we had a great stay.
