Easy access to tube and transport + nice neighborhood

The building is a bit old, and so is the room. Part of the ceiling is a bit worn and peeled off, also some stains on the wall paper. But to be honest no big deal to me, and I think the size of my room sort of compensates for that. A bigger problem coming with the age is probably the sound isolation. I don't hear my neighbor that much when they're in their room but when they open the door and walk in the hallway... oh no. very bad if you want to sleep in.

Location is really good! It's in a pretty nice and quite neighborhood. Yet, a tube station is only 3 min away. Very easy to get to major tourist attractions like buckingham palace, westminster bridge, borough market even without changing line. Overground station to Euston is also within walkable distance. Nearby also are a tesco and some fast food restaurants which can come in really convenient. My room is spacious (I got an upgrade), free tea bags and instant coffee, and the staff is nice and helpful.

No fridge and air conditioner even though in summer. London is comfortable even in summer actually, but sometime unexpectedly heat recent summer.

You had to pay £1:95 for a bottle of water, should be complimentary. There was no shower gel as the hotel was waiting on a delivery but a small bar of soap was provided. Shower curtain over the bath in the bathroom, I personally prefer a shower door. Large comfy bed but the pillows were very uncomfortable. I was staying with friends, we all ordered the cooked breakfast at the same time. 2 cooked breakfast arrived quite quickly but then had to wait a good 10 minutes for the other 2 to arrive. The lovely lady in the breakfast room was very apologetic.

The staff were friendly. The hotel was clean. Spacious room, plenty of space for 2 suitcases. Complementary tea/coffee and biscuits. Breakfast was good and freshly cooked. We were able to leave our luggage after checking out. Quiet location. Would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was very basic, just ok. There was no vegetarian cooked breakfast options, and the coffee was very poor. However the service was friendly and helpful.

Rooms were clean and comfortable, and facilities were good. It was helpful to have an iron already in the room and not having to collect one from reception, which some hotels do.

The bar was minimal and closed early so no nightcap. No decent parking anywhere close (Used Westfield and jumped on the tube).

Great staff on reception. Comfortable bed. Great shower. Nice building and close to the tube.

The pillows where like bricks, extremely hard, I folded the towel and used that ad a pillow. Breakfast is one price it maybe a good idea to have a price for continental breakfast and a price for English breakfast. I paid £12.95 for coffee & weetabix.. I stayed in the room below reception so it extremely noisy.

The staff where extremely friendly. The hotel was in a good location. The bed was very comfortable lots of complimentary tea & coffee, plenty of complimentary toiletries.

Room a little worn down, like loose toilet seat, stained carpet and peeling wallpaper. No mini fridge. No power outlet adapters were available for sale in the reception despite it being advertised.

Beautiful old building with cozy furnishings. Easy access to underground and groceries. Clean beds and bathroom. Good value for the price.

Perhaps a safe or refrigerator in the room. But it's actually perfect for a few days.

The accommodation is located next to the Jubilee metro line, maximum 50 metres from Swiss Cottage station in a quiet street. It is a perfect starting point for any city trip. The room was especially large, comfortable, clean and had a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is kind, polite and helpful, the accommodation is quiet. Breakfast selection is good and delicious. If we return to London, we will stay here again.

Breakfast - limited vegetarian options. It would have been nice to have a little more choice.

The staff are exceptional - all polite, cheerful and smiling. And the location is fantastic, especially if you are going to an event in Wembley as we were. You can go by tube Swiss Cottage to Wembley Park and then get the slightly less crowded overground back from Wembley Central to South Hampstead to beat the queues!
