Things that are unavoidable when staying in a city like loud cars roaring at night. But I'm from NYC and used to that! I wish I would've asked for more pillows too, but that's on me. But other than that it was fantastic!

The staff was friendly and available 24 hours! The room was very clean and the space felt very safe. We received fresh towels daily and had coffee and tea in our rooms!

We had the windows to the street and some of the passing cars were quite loud in the night. Nevertheless the windows were doubled. If you don’t mind to sleep with closed window there is no problem.

It was very clean and the services provided for this price were outstanding.

Walls are paper thin, can’t be helped but if you are looking for a solid nights sleep probably not the right place

It's an old building without good double glazing so I could hear the road traffic noise. however with good ear plugs this wasn't a problem. Hair dryer was at reception and would have been better in my room.

The swinton had everything I needed for a short stay in London. The room was basic but had a hot shower, shampoo etc, tea/coffee/water and biscuits Everything was clean.

Really friendly. Very clean hotel. Typical of type for the area, but a little better than others we have tried. Nice garden space for relaxing without needing to be in your room. Recommended!

Convenient for King’s Cross station

Adding bathmats in the bathroom and providing hairdryers for added convenience could enhance the experience.

We had a great stay in this British-style hotel. The rooms and corridors were small but cozy. The location was superb, just a 10-15-minute walk to the tube station in a lively area with shops, restaurants, and bars. We love walking, so we explored the city mostly on foot and rarely used the tube. The reception is open 24/7, and the staff were very helpful. We had a WiFi issue on our first night, but they moved us to a recently renovated, more spacious room the next morning, which was a nice upgrade. The hotel has a cute garden for reading or relaxing. It's not fancy, but it has everything you need on a budget. The excellent location and cleanliness make it our top choice for future visits to London.

Swinton Street is quite busy with traffic at times, so that can be noisy if you have the window open - nothing the hotel can do about that.

The hotel is in a good location, close to Kings Cross station. It has a nice quiet, well kept garden at the back with seating areas, available to residents. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.

The shower doesn’t have too much pressure and takes a lot until the water gets warm.

Very clean and close to the Kings Cross station, so perfect if you are traveling for a couple of days. The personal was also really friendly and the reception runs 24h. The room was the perfect size for one person and it was always very clean!

Room was tiny…bathroom lacked hooks for towels, clothing etc. Stairs were narrow and lacked good hand rail.

Excellent location for access to rail and tube stations. Staff was friendly and very helpful! Room was basic but clean with access to garden. We found it very quiet for sleeping.

Although it met my needs,I felt it was a little under-provided with surfaces to put things, in both the bedroom and ensuite. I had requested a table and chair, but neither was provided. I would recommend it to others though

I liked the welcoming, and well supervised reception area, and 24hr availability of staff. It was very clean. Breakfast was good value.

The first two rooms offered were not cleaned and ready: we were given alternative room with a double bed. A double room had been requested on booking. I Felt that the communication between the cleaning staff and reception staff could have been better highlighting rooms that were ready for occupation at the correct time for checkin. But having said this , after pointing out rooms were not ready and cleaned the friendly staff provided a ready and acceptable double room instead.

We left very early due to ongoing travel commitments so did not have breakfast. Water was available in the room as was some supplies of tea, coffee and some biscuits and nice smelling bathroom body wash available.

Perfect for our needs.

Excellent location for Eurostar and very clean and comfortable. Remarkably quiet even though we had a ground floor room. Would have like to have taken advantage of the breakfast and garden but had a late arrival and early departure.

Very friendly personel. Simple but clean family room for four people. Close to the internation train station. Nice restaurants in the area. Nice gym in the hotel basement and nice garden area.

In the bathroom, there was no place to put our things. A small surface would do, but there was none whatsoever.

Perfect location for a weekend in Lindon. Close to St. Pancras and excellent connections to everywhere with public transport.
