Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomSystem of payment was confusing. When checking in an extra £50 was taken which I understood to be for credit in bar etc. however we were refused credit in the bar that evening and explanation at reception was not really acceptable. However this was rectified without any problems when checking out.
Room was comfortable. Good location

United KingdomWhen I arrived I was surprised to be asked how often I wanted my room serviced- every 3 days, daily , or not at all -I asked for daily servicing so was disappointed that the tea/coffe milk was not refreshed, neither was the bathroom cleaned or the wet towels replaced - I usually stick with one set of towels but there is nowhere in the room to dry them - one towel was removed on day 3 of 4- but not replaced with a dry one . I ended up going out to buy my own tea an milk for the room. The other comment I will make is that the huge air sourced heater under the window was very NOISY! too nosyto sleep - so I ended up turning it off and using the silent convector heater instead - The noise pit me off EVER getting one for my house
Room was clean and comfortable whenI arrived - It was close to where I needed to attend meetings all week -

United KingdomMy room was cold. I had to put on the heater and wrap myself in the double duvet to keep warm at night. I asked for a blanket and this improved my comfort on the second night.
Convenient to Swansea City. Easy for my son to pick me up. Parking for guests was free.

This hotel is in a great location, right by the sea front and just a short walk into the bars and restaurants in Swansea. The staff are extremely professional and friendly. The only thing that previously let it down was the dated decor. Now this has been updated with fresh and tasteful decor and furnishings it will be my first choice when visiting Swansea.

United KingdomNothing really.
Nice hotel in a very good location with the marina and beach both close by and in good walking distance to the shops in the centre. Two rooms booked and the reception made sure the rooms were near each other. Bar was nice and staff friendly. Restaurant for breakfast - staff very friendly and all round good experience with nice food. Would recommend.

United KingdomThe prices of food were awful, went in one night was a bit hungry asked how much a pot noodle was and when they said £5 I nearly fell to the floor. We used Wetherspoons for our food, it was so much cheaper, you couldn’t even get a sandwich for less than £12 in the hotel, it was ridiculous.

United KingdomThe air conditioning unit was very noisy and the reading light was missing from one side of the bed.
Very comfortable bed and the view of the bay would have been wonderful if the weather had not been very stormy. The water was so soft and the pressure was great for the shower and filling the bath. The products smelled really nice and it was such a bonus to have conditioner as well as shampoo! Good breakfast to suit all tastes. Due to the weather we were also grateful for the umbrella hire for £2 as they were very sturdy unlike my own which turned inside out and broke as soon as we left the Hotel.

United KingdomCleanliness - we found sweets on the floor under the bedside table, & more plug sockets in the rooms
Very easy to get to & great location for both the town and university. Staff were very friendly & helpful & the beds are super-comfy. There is easy access to parking (although not free) and walkable to the beach, town and university. My daughter will be starting uni in Swansea so we will be back & will definitely stay at the Delta Marriott again.
