The rooms a very hot, please supply more ways to keep cool. We had to buy our own fans, because the fans in the room did not work and we were told they have no others to give us.

A £10.00 per day parking charge which I don't think I was aware of when booking the hotel. When it came to checking-out there was some confusion as to the bill to pay - due I think to the change of tariff with the special deal. It took some time for the staff to get it sorted out -which they did- but I think it could have been done in a more customer-friendly manner because it took over 20 minutes to get a resolution which meant that my wife only just made it to breakfast.

Check-in was quick and efficient, the room convenient and comfortable. Our little dog was made very welcome and had full access throughout the hotel. The location was first class being right in the centre of town but sufficiently far back from main roads so as to be quiet. The meals were excellent for choice and quality and included in our package. The cost of our stay changed quite considerably from the original price due to a special deal being available and we were able to take advantage of that.

Parking at the back of the property wasn't really available, so we had to pay for street parking. Easy to park on the street and plenty of space, but the reception staff commented the parking is an issue they are working to resolve.

Brilliant location, just outside of the main bustle of the central streets of Harrogate, so much easier to park than other hotels we've stayed in. Comfy bedroom, a decent size and clean bathroom. Tea making facilities, and a wardrobe to store clothes. Breakfast was very nice, and a comfy setting to eat in. Lovely bar area.

There was nothing I didn't like. The staff were very helpful helping me with parking the car and generally getting settled. The hotel was very clean comfortable and the dinner in the restaurant was lovely.

I arrived quite late in the evening and was quite tired but received a very warm welcome from the staff. I was spending some time in Harrogate to do a spa day at the Turkish Baths and then I was planning to see a friend in Stockport.

Didn’t like the minimal choices for breakfast. Cereals were basic, no porridge - no way of ordering. It was fried eggs or dried out scrambled eggs. We had to collect our own orange juice/water. Then back for coffee then back for toast, then food. Wasn’t happy at this arrangement. We thought we had booked 4 star hotel however the rating was changed to 3 after we booked. For note I am generally easy to please.

Parking not that easy, very tight on space. Would be better having the reception desk away from bar area, difficult for customers to access when arriving when the bar area is busy.

Real ale Beer selection was poor (awaiting delivery). Cold buffet selection wasn't as good as hot selection, very limited. Woken up by kitchen vent fans early in the morning (c5:30!)
