Pillows were uncomfortable,to the point that if we had been staying longer l would have gone out and bought my own.

The property was in a fantastic situation,easy to access all shops,theatres etc. Food was lovely,we ate there both nights of our stay. Breakfast also very good,plenty of choice,hot or cold. Room lovely and clean and a decent size. Staff were polite and courteous.

The hotel is buzzing and friendly, the decor has really been thought about and dogs are extremely welcome. (Having stayed recently at another central hotel which isn't nearly as dog friendly as it claims to be, and is run down and staff rude and disinterested, we were really hoping this place would be better and it was. Much better!). The staff without exception were helpful, friendly and enthusiastic. Thank you, we had a really good three nights and we've already booked to return.

Our bedroom was far too hot at night. No air conditioning, although a small, but inadequate fan was supplied. We were located on the second floor, and as soon as you left the main hotel area you could feel the heat. Our stay was at the end of August, with a temperature of 20 degrees, and a mixture of rain We can only imagine how warm it gets in the height of summer!

The decor was beautiful. Great location for shops, restaurants etc. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Tiny bathroom literally no room to turn. Also the hotel is dog friendly which we’re ok with but not the fact that dogs were allowed in the dining room at breakfast and meal times. We have a dog ourselves , she wasn’t with us but if she had have been I wouldn’t have taken her into the main breakfast dining room at the table when there were other guests eating and may not have been bothered about sharing the dining area with someone else’s dog. Personally I think any guests with dogs should have sat in the bar area and not in the dining room. For this reason we wouldn’t stay again.

Lovely building. Very central . Lovely Bar areas with friendly staff. Nice outside area which we also used in between heavy showers in our great British summer!

The bedroom was a little dated but clean and comfortable. The shower was not very efficient but ok.

Our room was a little tired looking. However, lovely comfy bed, good facilities and powerful shower.

Downstairs bar area and restaurant was beautifully designed- it definitely had the wow factor! The food was really good, too. We had dinner in the restaurant and both meals were delicious.

Better organisation at breakfast.

The hotel & staff are excellent & I really don’t want to complain about anything but we found breakfast to be chaotic & had to keep asking for things to be replaced on both mornings we had breakfast. Everything had ran out, cups, bowls, breakfast items, butter to name a few. There did not seem to be any organisation at all. That said, I would stay again because the hotel is so nice & the staff were lovely.

Waiting times for checking in were too long, mainly due to staff performing multiple roles, which I agree has become the norm amongst employers stretching staff. Management need to get a grip of this as it affects consumers. The noise of running water from an outlet point was unacceptable. Standard of room appeared dishevelled chunks of plaster missing in parts and lack of recent touching up of paint. Sadly, we would not use this hotel again.

Location. Door closers have been adjusted so that there's no slamming of doors in corridors.

Very noisy air conditioning unit outside disturbed our sleep all of first night and started up again at 5.30am the second. Room was hot with significant smell of damp in the entrance so having a window open was necessary, and the noise couldn't be reduced.

All Staff very helpful. Pleasant and responsive to everyone even when circumstances were pressuring.

Breakfast was a little bit of a let down. Served till 10.30 at weekends, we arrived at 9.30, struggled to find a clean table as most still have the last guests stuff on, staff not really bothered about clearing them promptly. Sundays breakfast….no hash browns, no freshly squeezed orange juice machine, no fresh bread only crusts and again loads of dirty tables not cleared away….

Great location for visiting the town…..nice and clean through out the rooms and public areas. Staff were great around the bar area, not so much in the breakfast area.

Located perfectly in the centre of Harrogate. The room was a generous size and had more than enough facilities to make the stay relaxing. The bar and restaurant was great with plenty to offer.

We were on the 3rd floor, and would just say the room needed a little TLC . But they were clean as you would expect and the bed was soooo comfortable.

The hotel bar and restaurant area we're excellent , the staff were all very friendly and helpful, we had an evening meal which we really enjoyed and the breakfast we couldn't fault with so much to choose from . The hotel is central to everywhere just across from the Turkish Baths we were there for two day's and didn't move the car , would definitely return.

The rooms not very big and although looked recently refurbished had started to wear. But suppose that must be because it's popular and bedrooms have become a little tired. Breakfast ok much like a premier inn. But had bar meal in the evening which was not very good value money basic chain food.

Booked a double room, room was spacious however bed was small. My husband is 6ft and his feet were hanging out the end. Wardrobe was half size, nowhere to hang midi length dresses. Whilst staff in restaurant at breakfast were friendly, they didn’t keep up with clearing tables and replenishing food and cups etc when run out. Breakfast was generally good however some more fruit option have been nice.

Hotel ambiance was lovely, especially bar and restaurant area. Very clean, excellent central location
