Very big room with a large private bathroom. Very well equipped. The breakfast was delicious. Lots of thing to choose among and everything was freshly prepared.

The property was amazing lovely room and spotlessly clean. Bed comfortable and there were extra wee touches which made our stay very enjoyable. The breakfast was superb delicious, hot and cooked to order. Ruby the host couldn’t do enough for us and even offered to dry our wet jackets. Ruby also was great with info about places to eat locally.

Ruby and Raymond were both fantastic hosts. They couldn’t do enough for us! Their house is beautiful. The bedrooms were large, clean and modern. The beds were very comfy. The breakfast was outstanding. Would recommend.

A fabulous guesthouse, very professionally run. Large, comfortable room and ensuite. Breakfast had a lot of choice and was delicious. The view from our room over the valley was great. Kingussie is a very good location for exploring the Cairngorms. A very pleasant stay - thank you Ruby and Raymond.

It was near where we needed to be. We had an exceptionally large bathroom and the accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and the owners went all out to accommodate us.

Staying in common areas and lounges must end by 22:00 when all lights are turned off - this is possibly fine by couples, but a little early for us who traveled as a group.

Very appealing, delicately furnished, thoughtfully decorated, comfortable guest house with spacious guest rooms and salons. Excellent bathrooms. Well kept, clean and hospitable facility with helpful hosts. And the breakfast is really outstanding - top quality ingredients and preparation.

This was our second visit to Sutherlands Guest House and it felt like a home away from home! The super-king bed was so comfy, our room was spacious and breakfast was delicious. Ruby and Raymond are wonderful hosts and they made us feel welcome and comfortable. A very handy location for us as we were visiting family staying in Aviemore, as well as the Highland Wildlife Park and Glenmore Forest Park.

We had a lovely stay at Sutherlands guest house. The hosts were very friendly and went the extra step to make our stay nice. The breakfasts were amazing! And the view we had from the room was great. Would definitely stay there again if we were in the area.

Absolutely nothing

My wife & I have just returned from a 3 night stay at this lovely guest house. The room was exceptional in size, cleanliness, and quality of setting to provide a great night's sleep. It is located on a lovely quiet road close to hill trails and forestry walks, allowing us to totally unwind. Personally, my favourite part of our stay - Raymond's cooked breakfasts. Absolutely top notch - far better than many I've had in hotels. I must also highlight that Ruby was a fantastic host, very welcoming but particularly at breakfast. Her service was first class. The daily cleaning of the room and fresh milk in the refrigerator for tea and coffee were great. A couple who obviously take pride in their home. Thank you. We hope to return.

Impeccable everything. Exquisite attention to detail. Relaxed atmosphere. Quiet. I am a light sleeper and did not hear a pin drop. Amazing breakfasts. Short walk to restaurants through the garden gate and a rewilded field managed for butterflies & moths through which a path had been mown. The scent of stocks as we walked past, bird song.

We had a lovely studio room (the Doghouse) which was large and very well equipped. There was a generous supply of tea, coffee and biscuits and even a welcoming small bottle of single malt whisky! The hosts were very hospitable and the breakfasts the best we've had with beautiful views from the dining room.
