Some of the surrounding areas are in a very poor state, almost dangerous, with furniture abandoned and broken glass, my dog couldn’t be walked as the surrounding area was not safe, it was a terrible shame as we love the facilities the accommodation is fine and the kids entertain is brilliant but then you have this derelict apartments that undermine the potential of being a wonderful family holiday retreat

Room wasn't amazing standards. Toilet cracked, hole in door. No measuring jug in kitchen, and only 2 teaspoons..

Front door and bedroom window didn't close properly. Dusty. Cobwebs. Lack of hot water. TV tuned to BBC Wales. Uncomfortable settees. Lack of storage. Lack of coat hangers. Lack of kitchen utensils I.e. pizza cutter, sharp knife. Flooring in shower room collected water as flooring poorly laid. Decorating standard.

The cutlery in the kitchen was poor quality and unmatching and most of the crockery and cutlery needed to be washed prior to use When I came to pick up the keys from the bar my booking had been missed. The bar staff had to reopen reception to investigate the issue which they did happily and successfully but it did take a long while to pick up my keys The website needs updating. It showed the Monkey Puzzle restaurant to be closed on a day I hoped to have breakfast there but I discovered it was open when it was too late to make use of it wuich was a shame.

Paid for early check in for the room not to be ready, provided a food voucher as compensation only to be told what we could use that on was limited. Swimming pool was good but changing facilities limited and showers very hot and didn't work very well.

We arrived late so just popped into the bar/restaurant for the keys. Was very simple The apartment was well equipped. Monkey Puzzle restaurant was excellent. Chefs great. Lovely food at a great price

A bit noisy with water tanks filling and can hear people in nextdoor talking, so sound proofing could help.

The apartment we had looks like it had been newly renovated and was clean with plenty of towels, a kettle and tea/coffee sachets. A little cooler fridge which was handy. We only stayed one night as a journey break. Walls a bit thin and water tank noise till late. Did go quiet after midnight. When the whole of the repairs and renovating are complete, which I could see has started. It would be a nice place to stay.

It took a long time to get served in the bar for food and drinks. The apartment needed some refurbishment as it was a bit worn. Kitchen lacked a chopping board and tin opener didn't work. The flat above had a leak which dropped through our ceiling onto the table.maintenence came out and it eventually stopped.

The rooms were comfortable, facilities were good, the family enjoyed the children's entertainment and live music was good. The food was good and reasonably priced. The pool was warm, enjoyed the sauna. The staff were friendly.

Room wasn't ready in time,wouldn't mind but this is the second time in As many weeks and it's frustrating especially when you have kids that are tired. Front door wouldn't lock from the outside and the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor,to say we paid for a superior I would have expected better.

Love staying here, kids love it as there is loads for them to do. Great food,lovely views,beds were amazing. Used the pool for the first time and it was great.

Lots of stairs and starting to look a bit run down.

Had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Great place to stay if you had young kids and/or dogs. Entertainment was cute. Dinner in the restaurant was great.

The place is in need of some TLC. Light pull cord for our bathroom had snapped off 10inch from the ceiling, guttering missing in places, facia panel snapped off in places, areas need painting, fake grass needs reattaching, areas need weeding, crazy golf unusable etc etc

Not very clean, kitchen appliances were not working properly and staff was dismissive when contacted about the non-working appliances.

TV was almost behind sofa. Info about facilities was very poor. No info in room, just a QR code which lead to page saying that there was faculties, but didn't provide opening times and other info.

I liked that there was a "beach library". We borrowed a bucked and spade for a day at the beach. The pool was nice, changing rooms could have been nicer (no cubicles).
