I found the outdoor space a little disappointing. However this was mainly due to the surrounding trees which meant limited sun & often a brisk wind. Also the outdoor space was not entirely private.

Lily adds a lot of personal touches, especially if celebrating a special birthday or event. Very spacious house with plenty of space for 6 people. Comfortable beds & nice showers, toiletries supplied.

We loved everything! It is a lovely, roomy and comfortable house to stay in. Lily is an amazing host who adds lots of special touches throughout the house so you feel very pampered. Lily is on hand for anything you need. We highly recommend staying here if you want to explore Cornwall. It was the most relaxing accommodation we had in our whole 5 week trip around the UK.

The steep drive to approach the property, but we quickly got used to it.

The property's facilities are luxurious, with every possible requirement in place. In addition, a bottle of sparkling wine awaited us, and our Host put a cream tea into the fridge for us.

The steep driveway means you lose sight of how close you are to the stone walls on either side particularly at night. Perhaps some lights/sensor lights on driveway would help. We were driving a Peugeot 308 rental - no issue for front bumper clearance. Always had option to park at top of driveway as well.

Sunny Side Up is a beautiful house with every facility. Our host was extremely helpful as one of our party was elderly and Lily went above and beyond normal expectations We visited The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan with very easy access from here. I would recommend this luxury to anyone looking to stay in St Austell!

Wow! What a beautiful house. Lily is an amazing host, felt relaxed and welcomed straight from the start. We even met the boys who are extremely polite and respectful. Personal touches all over the house and you will struggle to find a better place to stay. We will be back.

It was all absolutely wonderful

Lilys property was unbelievably clean, organised, stylish. We arrived and were greeted by the best hostess with a big smile and warm welcome, she even made us all a scone each free of charge and left them for us on arrival. It was absolutely amazing and we are sad we only stayed for one night. When we came back after our dinner we forgot to get some milk and she kindly gave us some of her own. We cannot wait to go back there. The beds were very comfortable and bathrooms lovely and clean. We couldn’t fault a thing, it was absolutely fantastic

Wow, factor! Attention to detail from the host. What a lovely surprise, after a long journey to walk into a beautifully presented home with not only a welcoming table setting including bucksfizz in a champagne bucket but a full on cream tea, scones and nibbles in the fridge and a lovely welcome message. All these and more personal touches really made me smile and gave me a warm, fuzzy feeling. The bathrooms were fabulous ,showers easy to use, and the bath! well, if ever there was an Instagram moment ! I will leave you to discover that for yourself .I could have just had my whole holiday in there! I slept so well my bed was perfect. Never have I stayed in a place where around every corner pride has been taken.

No toilet roll holders, bath mats would have been handy, had to use towels to stand on. Bedroom doors all stuck, unable to fully close them. Had a little bit of trouble with front door, inadvertently put on the deadlock and couldn’t release it.

Everything about the property was great! Very comfortable and well equipped. The personal touches that Lily provides really add to an already fabulous place to stay. Good location for us (we were attending a wedding at Eden Project) and only a short walk from shops and pubs. Carlyon bay and Charlestown just a short taxi ride/drive. the beds are super comfortable and the garden is amazing - large but private. A real hidden gem.

The only downside to this stay was the very steep drive that my sisters very old and little car didn't enjoy on the way out. Everything else was perfect.

Little touches from Lily made our trip away feel like a home from home. A welcome bottle of bucks fizz and nibbles and a personalised welcome message for us just shows how much Lily takes pride in building a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Decorated beautifully with Rose Gold and lots of plants, we loved every room. The bath tub was the best part of the whole place, I could have spent all evening there. Lily had thought of everything we could possibly need, bottles of water in our rooms and blankets and magazines to get cozy! We loved our stay and will be recommending Sunny Side-Up to all our friends. Location was perfect for our spa day at The Cornwall Hotel and Spa.
