Room window is frosted which feels claustraphobic. Some cereals and hot buffet items had run out after 45 minutes. No service for beverages and toast at breakfast.

Comfortable bed. Clean, up to date bathroom.

Dated decor although some improvements have been made since my last stay. They're a bit stingy with the tea, coffee, milk, shower gel etc. although they gave me more when I requested it at reception. The room was uncomfortably hot and the hot tap in the bathroom was unbearably hot, despite there being no heating on. I found a fan in the wardrobe which eased the issue on one side of the bed. The shower was poor. The TV only worked intermittently and for a couple of channels; the staff came to fix it but said it was unfixable; it was clearly a common, but unaddressed, problem, as it wasn't just ours.

Location and staff were friendly enough. Compact room was fine for a short stay and it was very quiet in our room.

The shower leaked and flooded the bathroom so my neice went flying, she was fine. The carpets had stains on them. The room itself was absolutely boiling but I didn't know there was a fan in the cupboard. As we stayed one night I didn't rummage around 🤦‍♀️

You could use the neighbouring outdoor pool aswell as the indoor pool. This was included in the stay. We didn't get guaranteed check in at 3 but they did compensate with a late check out which was generous. The staff were lovely.

The parking was terrible and I witnessed other cars being hit by fellow visitors and just driving off. Having to park in another hotel was very off putting. The smell of paint on the second floor gave me a terrible headache overnight. It made me not want to be in the hotel at all. If I could have afforded to relocate to another hotel I would have after the first night. nowhere during booking do i recall seeing information about there being no fridge in my room, it made things very difficult regards keeping food and drink for my sporting competition.

The beds were not very comfortable and wake up with backache. Very small tv considering the room was quite big. The crib provided for my 2 y.o was not the best as it was too small.

Nice and quiet area, close to beach and pier. Lovely breakfast

Bar/pub service not too swift. Limited plug-ins in room, no USB jacks, reading lights weak.

Location and view was good. Staff was pleasant and helpful. They are one of 3 Oceana properties in a row on the East Ciff area of Bournemouth. Ocean views, several dining options, one small pool at Suncliff, but you can use the big one next door, with poolside dining. The room was "compact." I.e., rather small. Hard to have suitcases open and still walk to bathroom. But you get what you play for. Quick taxi service, cheap!! ,

Eating my meal in the pub.

Parking not guaranteed even though it was £12 a day, could not find parking on 2nd day, so had to park on the sea front ( this was actually cheaper) but did get a refund because of this. Could do with a lick of paint but not awful.

Staff friendly and helpful, food good, prices not bad for a hotel, well stocked bars. Room fine for my needs.

We weren’t aware they had swimming lessons in the weekdays in the afternoon/evenings so didn’t feel like we could go for a swim in those times, hotel room shower didn’t have great pressure.

I knowingly booked a small budget room including breakfast at a very reasonable price, room was very small though. I have stayed at this hotel before so I know it has a little faded grandeur but it is clean and works. Duvet on bed was a bit thin so I was cold in night.

Hotel has a great location on edge of town center. The full English breakfast is good value.

Car parking charge £12pn when room booked via Booking.com (free if booked direct) 3 nights = £36. But later discovered we could have parked more easily in the metered bays on the street out front, 3 nights = £20. Hotel is some distance from the nearest zigzag to the beach. Sometimes a long queue at reception. Stair carpets need worn edges capping or someone's going to have an accident. light bulbs not all working. Would be nice if asked about food intolerances & allergies when ordering breakfast.

Location. Away from noisy centre and facing the sea. Staff were excellent; friendly, proactive and made us feel listened to. Room was refreshed every day. Plentiful breakfast (costs extra) with multitude of food choices and good coffee. Plenty of lounging areas. Issue with first room 11pm first day, but allocated an upgrade immediately. Very pleasant indoor pool and poolside shower. Extra towels provided for pool use. Didn't use the sauna.
