Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It is a cool place to stay. All facilities are provided.

United KingdomApart from the conversation between the 2 member of staff which i felt was a hierarchy situation, everything was perfect.
Check in was straight forward, our room was amazing and we only had the standard room, all the usual, TV, tea and coffee with biscuits, water in the fridge, very comfortable bed, shower not bad, clean but a bit of a lighter spray that i prefer. We had a drink in the bar in the evening and the service and staff were lovely, no issues. beautiful sitting on the deck looking over the water. Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance, and very close to the tube for exploring London. Only reason I didn't score excellent for staff was because we asked to take a coffee out after breakfast and the communication between the 2 staff members appeared to be a bit fraught, we couldn't as the deck was wet, which we understood, but it was the conversation between these 2 staff that was a bit cringe, don't forget we were standing there, be polite to each other. The lady who was dealing with us came back and was very apologetic and professional. We still enjoyed out coffee in the lobby.

United KingdomThe receptionist who booked in told us that there was only a continental breakfast available and no hot food, so we declined. Fortunately we checked in the morning and were able to book then and enjoyed an extensive choice of hot and cold buffet food.

United KingdomI waited over an hour for room service of two drinks from the bar & was still charged the service charge. The drinks were also incredibly overpriced. The wifi was quite weak & unreliable in the room and the light in our bathroom flickered throughout the full stay. Whilst this is the negative side of the review, none of this would prevent us from staying again we just wouldn’t use room service or drink in the bar.
The hotel was beautiful & the location was ideal. The staff were incredibly helpful & friendly.
