There wasn’t anything we didn’t like…there are stairs but you know that before you get there and they are not difficult to manage, although maybe for small children.

Lovely flat in a great location…we had travelled a long way (10 hours by car) to get here and was so happy that Ruth was able to let us check in early. We used the park and ride to get to Edinburgh, so easy and quick. The lovely big windows looking over the water were a bonus, watching the weather change from one side to the other was great.

I’m being super picky, cause it was genuinely great, but it would have been nice to be able to open the living room window. There were loose “skirtings” in the hall, but they didn’t cause us bother.

The view is just gorgeous here. The location is great for getting into Edinburgh on main bus routes. Beds were comfy and showers good. The living area was super comfortable and the dining area was great, with a well equipped kitchen. We travelled with 3 young children and had more than enough space and it was a lovely comfortable place to relax when we weren’t out.

Only small gripe we had was the lack of a coffee table or some small tables to place drinks on next to the sofas, but thats being really picky!

Lovely little flat with a great view. We stayed as 4 adults and 1 teenager and it was perfect for us. The flat is well equipped, with everything you should need for a short stay and the bathrooms were lovely. Location is perfect, within walking distance of the racecourse (20mins), train station (20mins), town centre (10 mins) and plenty pubs/eateries within 5/15 mins walk. The flat is located right beside the harbour so the beach and promenade are a stones throw away. Pretty sure we will be back!

Beds way to hard, made sleeping difficult. Floors are noisy.

Location was great for kids, buses into city about 30 or 40 minutes. Bathroom very modern and kitchen well equipped with supermarkets so close it was easy too make own meals.

They were only minor niggles, but as it was sold as superb, they set a high bar! One of the main picture windows didn't open and they all needed cleaning (bird mess). There was no dishwasher and we only disovered just before arrival - apparently it had been removed, but there was no sign of there ever having been one. The floors were very creaky and it needs some drawers or cupboards in bedrooms and a bit more kitchen equipment like cooking and washing up bowls. The front door was very hard to close without slamming it shut

Not the renter's fault but the parking space behind the apartment seems to be a local meeting point - a lot of cars running, honking, people yelling and singing until late all three nights. For us it didn't take away from the experience much but for early sleepers/young children it could be unpleasant.

Wonderful location, responsive landlord, very clean and nice interior, well equipped, beautiful view.

The third bedroom could have done with curtains, rather than just blinds as the room was flooded with light from early morning. It also had a glass door. Both of these problematic when there was a teenage girl in the room - we problem solved with blankets on the door and round the bunk beds though! Cleaners hadn’t left any toilet roll or washing up liquid and there was other people’s out of date food in one of the cupboards.

Fantastic location with lovely views on the shore. Lots of room for the three of us. Felt really spacious. Great host who arranged for items we had left behind to be posted on.

We could have done with a little bit of local information.

A flat with a view of the sea and the beach in front of your house, a big super market nearby. Easy parking. All one‘s needs catered for! We took the bus into Edinburgh for shopping and sightseeing, bus stop is not very far either.

The floors are extremely squeaky… to the point your scared to move because you will wake up everyone with the noise no matter how light you are on your feet! Only some of the lights worked in the living room! The mattresses are solid like a brick so uncomfortable to the point couldn’t sleep much… The washing machine was stinking so bad… tried my best to clean it!
