Absolutely nothing-it was perfect.

Really comfortable, clean, quiet. Perfect place for coming to and from Inverness Airport or for joining the NC500. Lovely quiet countryside and beautiful views. Heather couldn’t have been nicer to us. We appreciated the lovely breakfast and snacks that were left for us-fresh milk and juice, fruit and yoghurt in the fridge, bread for toast and shortbread and oatcakes as well as plenty tea and coffee. One of the best places we have stayed at.

Nothing. For a longer stay I'd want a cooker, but it was absolutely perfect.

No cooker, but apart from that this is the best place we've ever stayed. The bed is huge and comfy, even though breakfast isn't included there was plenty of breakfast food provided, the finishing and furnishing are beautiful, it's just a lovely place to be. Location is great, in a village just off the A9. And the hosts are the nicest family you could ever hope to meet.

Lovely big bed. Great shower / bathroom. Kitchen was super, and the light breakfast was ideal. Really quiet location, and the views from the back garden were a picture. And, Heather was a very hospitable host.

- everything is completely self service: check-in/out and breakfast - breakfast is a bit simple compared to the photos and other accomodation (no cheese no ham available, only instant coffee etc. ) - not particularly easy to find

- great new spacious Appartement with movie room, kitchen bathroom etc. - comfortable big bed - great value and location on NC500

Heather and Kevin were amazing hosts! Catered to our every need and made us feel very welcomed. A lot of communication in a nice way. They also have a nice jacuzzi which you can use for a small fee. Enjoyed staying at their place very much!

We had a lovely quiet stay for one night. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very well thought out with lovely furnishings and a huge comfortable bed. The kitchen area and self serve breakfast provided was perfect.

Absolutely nothing. We could not have been more comfortable, welcomed & looked after.

Everything. The place is stunning. The family are so friendly & accommodating. Breakfast - delivered each day, superb. Location for the NC500 & everything the Black Isles has to offer could not be better. Wonderful hosts who clearly work extremely hard to make their home & guest accommodation luxurious, warm and spacious but cosy. Thank you for a wonderful couple of days.

Absolutely nothing

This is a little gem of an apartment. Right from walking through the door we knew we were going to enjoy it. The hosts were really lovely and so accommodating. They worked extra hard to make sure the hot tub was ready for us and went out of their way to make us feel at home. They had fresh bread/fruit/milk etc ready for us. The location was great for us, with plenty of parking space. It was good value compared to what else was on offer and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else after experiencing the kind hospitality.

Heather and Kevin were so welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was great with different things to choose from. The bed was very comfortable the apartment was really nice to be in. Hot tub was a massive bonus. Location was good to get to lots of different areas in the highlands.

How awesome is this place, do your self a favour and book here on your travels. Loved everything about this place, the family, location, the layout of the accommodation, the best roast pork at the local pub. Make sure to book a table. Nothing was too much trouble. This is such a great place to stay a few days! Our lovely host was welcoming us with open arms and always happy to help. If you need recommendations for evening activities, restaurants, tourist's attractions or just another slice of bread, Heather will provide you with everyone one would need. The guest house is located just a short trip north of Inverness in a quiet villages, which makes for a quiet night*s sleep and a great location for road trips. I highly recommend staying at Straw View and enjoy Heather's hospitality.
