Wasn't really anything to not like. As per previous reviews, some decor could do with a bit of updating/attention, but that did not affect our stay. The spa treatments were too expensive for us, sadly.

The facilities were good. We made use of the pool, sauna, and steam room. Not overly busy, so it was lovely and relaxing. We had our evening meal in the lounge, the food was good as were the portion size's. Breakfast was nice, but they had run out of a few things by the time we got there at 9.30, but they did replenish some of them whilst we were there.Room was very clean and the staff lovely.

The hotel looked tired. The main entrance was poorly kept - water fountain dirty, broken tiles on the entrance stairs. The fitness room needed air conditioning as it was incredibly hot. The pool needed repairing - the tiles, and the doors in the bathroom needed replacing/repairing - water damage on the bottom.

Bedrooms were a good size. Restaurant and bar were excellent. Staff helpful and location was good.

It has eveything for a family vacation.

I was thoroughly impressed by the range of amenities and the quality of service provided. It is a fantastic destination for families, offering activities that cater to both children and adults, ensuring everyone has a memorable stay. The game room is an absolute delight for children.The in-house cinema was another highlight of our stay. It offers a cozy setting, perfect for winding down after a busy day.

There was nothing at all we didn't enjoy,

My sister & I had a wonderful few days at Stratford manor ,all staff, including wonderful reception staff, restaurant & bar staff also Leisure spa staff. Grace was my therapist and gave me a wonderful massage & my sister had a lovely treatment from Maisie. The restaurant was shut. The pool on arrival was not overseen - there was a couple who were behaving intimately in the water which no attendant was there to stop. Not family friendly or adult appropriate. The room was dark even with the lights on, overall sombre and lacked design over functionality - too much like a Travel Lodge.

There are no plugs close to the bed side table. So charging your phone while using it in bed is not an option. The rooms were not very clean and if you have dust allergy, it can be a problem.

The gym wasn't very clean or the outside sitting area. The outside seating area needed a good tidy up, it was very pleasant sitting out there.

There was plenty of seating around the hotel very useful for elderly family members. The breakfast was lovely, plenty to choose from. The staff were all friendly.

I feel the Spa needs a bit of attention. There was a 'dirty drain' smell in the ladies changing area and the showers have cracked tiles/mould staining on the silicone sealant along the bottom. I also thought the breakfast service was a little poor. I had to ask for butter and waited a long time for that, they also ran out of fried eggs so I had to wait for them too. By the time you've waited for these things the other breakfast items you've put on your plate are getting cold. I think breakfast buffet is fine but it needs to be replenished sufficiently to ensure no delays. I think the hotel would benefit from serving a pot of coffee or tea at the table as again, going up and down to get coffee, food, etc. just makes the breakfast experience less enjoyable as you are very conscious that every time you walk away from your table to get a drink your food is getting cold!

On approach to the hotel it looks very impressive. The reception area was really lovely and welcoming. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The best thing about the hotel - the staff. They are all very friendly and go out of their way to talk to you which makes you feel very welcome
