We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe lift to the 3rd floor was roasting. The executive room was also extremely hot and it was an unusually warm day but radiators were blasting all through the hotel. While the bed was large it was dipping in places so sleep quality was affected. The bathroom was also too warm for comfort. While the towels were an excellent size and quality unfortunately they had an odour that was bad when dry but smelt really awful when wet. Unbearably bad so something is wrong with the detergent in my opinion. The shower was not good, the overhead barely trickled and the hand held was like something we have never encountered before. It was like a steam spray rather than an actual shower. Style over substance maybe. Without the robe I could not have got dried as I literally could not stand the smell of the towels. However I do think this is easily fixed and just needs investigation. No soft light option in the room everything was by over head spotlight.
On arrival free parking is good. Reception area is welcoming. The executive room was a fair size. Having 2 armchairs and the table for room service meals was welcome. A dressing table and lots of plugs was good. Hooks on the bathroom door. Lots of storage space. Full length mirror. Large TV if that's what you like.

Hotel is beautiful, lovely lounge area with a beautiful view, rooms very comfortable and clean, I liked the fact you get a bottle of water in the room, breakfast was good with a varied selection. Reception staff were really helpful

We loved the friendly welcome, this was down to a charming man called Phillip Murphy on reception checking us in. He gave us a valuable amount of extremely helpful information about the buses running nearby, the local area & attractions and of course about the hotel. What an amazing ambassador for your lovely hotel. It was a lovely room with very comfortable beds and lovely linen. Good quality towels and toiletries. Great breakfast.

United KingdomAlthough everything was exceptional the only thing l didn't like was that there was a quilt fair at the time of our visit and it was extremely busy and breakfast time was a little overwhelming even tho we came down at a supposedly quiet time all that aside the food was great
This is our 2nd time here and can't wait to return the staff are always kind and helpful and always eager to please. The rooms are great and beds are so comfortable its hard to get out of them best nights sleep in a long time can't wait to return

We had a wonderful meal and the staff in the bistro were amazing they helped my daughter with gluten free options as she is cealiac and we're really lovely. The reception was a little bit annoying just we did have two rooms booked and I felt like one checking in should have done it was just repeating info and we had a long drive up but overall that's just a little thing. Would recommend to go there definitely. Lovely hotel.

United KingdomWe had to move rooms after we were told the room was ready. On inspection the room was very poorly serviced, if it had been done at all. It was very dusty and the bed wasn't made up. £18 pp for breakfast is not acceptable so we refused to pay it.
Bed comfortable and we had a decent night's sleep.
