This was the perfect place to stay whilst in Arran. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable.The breakfast was delicious and portions were generous. Ideal for a day walking or exploring the island!

Thank you so much Jules and Carol for a truly special and memorable stay celebrating my birthday. We had a lovely time on Arran and at Stonewater House and were so grateful to be able to switch off and relax. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing - delicious, healthy, and always kept us well-fuelled for all of our adventures around the island! Thank you both again, and we hope to come back soon!

It's worth staying several days to be able to really sample the full extents of the breakfast menu.

As vegans it is rare to have an enjoyable, let alone exciting, breakfast when on the road. Carol & Jules are welcoming, friendly and like minded hosts that go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable within their home and business. Just beware, the onslaught of tremendously tasty food will leave you needing a late morning nap, which we were happy to do!

Everything was good- TV didn't work in bedroom and could have asked for it to be fixed but were happy reading books from the library and just relaxing without tuning into the world!

We arrived very wet and windswept- ferry almost cancelled! And lovely welcome from Carol with tea and biscuits. Had a quick run in morning along the amazing coast and back to an incredible breakfast! I wish I could have saved it over the day as couldn't finish... And hosts so friendly and book library brilliant. Will definitely come back for longer

Food was excellent. Our room had views of the bay. The water pressure was out of this world - especially coming from California and after a cold wet walkabout on the island. To be honest, we’re not vegan, but we consider ourselves vegan-friendly and the food was superb.

This was a quiet, comfortable b&b in a lovely location overlooking the bay and Holy Isle. The owners were very welcoming and the vegan breakfasts interesting and plentiful.

We loved our stay at Stonewater. Carol and Jules went out of their way to make sure our visit was a success - they provided some great travel advice regarding local restaurants, hikes and even other places to stay in our next destinations. The rooms were also very comfortable with great shower water pressure! The reading library has some great resources for exploring the island. But above everything the beautiful breakfasts that they prepare each morning are outrageously good....AND filling! We were sadly unable to eat every delicious thing they prepared, but the chia pudding breakfast "starter", vegan haggis and pancakes are standouts. You can tell they care so much about their guests and hospitality. We can't recommend this place enough.

It is a great place to find peace and quiet, Very nice couple and very helpful👌, the room very clean and the smill of soaps bathroom very nice, near the beach, I booked for 2 nights but the Stonewater House encorag me to add one day more, I recommend this house strongly.

I enjoyed everything about staying at Stonewater

The breakfast was fabulous and Carol and Jules were really accomodating, they even have us towels to take to the beach with us and provided info on places we could visit. They also made me a coffee and biscuits when I arrived was great. It was lovely to sit out on their balcony and relax in the sun. Got a chance to speak to other guests at breakfast as well. Very generous portions can't recommend highly enough. Room was clean and big enough for what we needed. Powerful shower

Shower a little small. Floor boards from upstairs and hall way very squeaky and noisy. Beds were comfy but maybe needed some tlc as the frames were very loose and noisy if you moved on them in any way.

Wide selection on the Vegan breakfast with very big portions, beautifully presented with a variety of teas and coffees.
