Only downside for us was no pets, we would have loved to bring our well behaved small dog with us.

Although the property was off the beaten track, it was a beautiful cottage with stunning views as you travel to it. Hosts were excellent communicators before we arrived and came to introduce themselves just after arrival. There were unexpected extras awaiting us, tea, coffee, biscuits, bread and butter, which were very much appreciated. The property was spotlessly clean, comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. WiFi was good but hardly any phone signal as indicated before we arrived. I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to stay in the area 10/10.

Such a lovely, comfortable, quiet place. Excellent stay for our visit to this part of the UK. Very helpful owners who provided us with mik, bread and bikkies for our arrival. A "Definitly stay again"!

The beds were slightly softer than anticipated but I think everyone has a different expectation of beds comfort.

The family have clearly gone the extra mile to make sure guests are comfortable and have everything they need. They provide extra amenities that we wouldn't even think of which was so helpful when staying away with two young children. Lovely secluded spot.

A beautiful cottage that is kept spotless to a high standard. Stayed overnight to attend a wedding locally and was very kindly given a lift from the venue on the evening. (Much appreciated Joan) Would definitely return if we are out this way again.

There wasn’t much not to like. It was all very well considered and thought through with generous touches throughout. I would say it wouldn’t be suitable for toddlers with it being a stone floor but for our boys 5&7 it was fine 👌

Everything was great. Kitchen was so cute and small but fully kitted out with everything you could need or want. Location is utterly stunning, so much running and walking and cycling to explore could have stayed a lot longer!

Absolutely nothing to complain about here. It was a beautiful stay.

This cottage is homely, equipped well and perfect for both short and long stays. Christmas lights and tree were up which was a lovely touch. Essentials in the fridge and toiletries in the bathroom. Everything was prepared well with the heating and fire on! The owners even cleared the snow off the next morning. Communication was also first class.

Great kerb appeal, very warm and cozy inside with log burner already lit. Christmas tree, decorations and outside lights were lovely touch. Welcome pack was amazing, information folder was clearly written with everything you’d need to know. Parking adequate for 2 cars.
