Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

AustraliaAllocated an Accessible Room which was disappointing (after we arrived early but then didn't see the room until late in the evening when we returned) as it had very low height vanity & mirrors and lacked furnishings expected in the room (staff tried to make it up to us in other ways after initial complaint (particularly Micha) which was much appreciated), disorganised arrival, messages from WhatsApp Virtual Concierge not getting through to hotel staff.
Common areas look great, restaurant space looks amazing, friendly staff (especially Micha on the front desk who went out of her way to help), smooth departure, lovely ala carte breakfast, welcome drink, Whatsapp Virtual Concierge

United KingdomThe food service in the evening was slightly slow considering we were the only ones eating. Although staff were apologetic.
The front of house staff and waiting staff were exceptionally friendly - they were extremely polite and friendly. The room was beautifully decorated and had everything that is needed for a night away. The whole hotel was immaculately kept and smelt wonderful - it felt like we were in a spa!

LatviaHotel's restaurant could have had a bigger menu (this is not about breakfast) for drinks and food, while they are not obliged to, since around you can find different types of other places.
The hotel is properly placed in a silent street, which is not more then 200 meters away from activities like shops, restaurants and other leisure places. Hotel has a truly professional and hospital personnel, who wished to do their best to ensure your perfect stay. From my side, I would highly thank Concierge team, which is always in time and knows everything.

Wow!!!The best hotel I've ever stayed in and I travel lots.Stayed one night as going to the arena and booked 2 King rooms.We were totally spoilt.From the fabulous team whom welcomed us a huge Thankyou.The rooms are huge with every bit of elegance and,comfort provided.Even had our beds turned down and curtains closed when we got back.This is the place of dreams.I will be back next time I'm in Manchester.( no other place on earth will ever match up).Who ever stays there you are very lucky.🥰

Amazing service, Kathryn was extremely knowledgeable about the hotel and answered to all my questions about the hotel’s history! Alexander was a great help to introduce to us the city and what are the good restaurants to go :) We had some words in French from Nigel. For breakfast, I cannot remember their name but the people taking of us were great!! I remember a lady giving us great advise of where to go in Lake District (our next stop after your hotel). BIG THANKS TO THE ENTIRE !!

United KingdomI, personally, would have liked a better outlook from our room, which looked out into offices. Only thing missing from the bathroom was a small table or stool.
Every member of staff (especially Aaron & Nigel, the Concierge team), who gave excellent personal service & made us feel very welcome. The hotel decor was incredible & the room (although on the small size) was extremely comfortable, with king size bed, refrigerator, hairdryer, coffee machine, kettle & few food freebies! The shower was also fantastic.

United KingdomThe live music that came on in the bar wasn’t very good, ruined the atmosphere for me and could’ve been better.
The staff were all so attentive, loved how upon check in we were brought into the welcome room for a glass of champagne, a lovely touch and unexpected. Ben or Dan (sorry can’t remember his name) was so lovely and gave us a tour of the hotel explaining all the history which we loved! The vault bar was a real highlight, so cosy and romantic and again all the staff were amazing in there. The room was lovely and modern, loved the touch of fresh milk in the fridge! Bed extremely comfy too. We both left thinking this is our new favourite hotel in Manchester as we were so impressed! Only thing I think that would make it even more exceptional would be having an operating restaurant as the dining area is so beautiful.
