Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Lovely big rooms and a feeling of home from home. Gorgeous breakfast with gluten free options. Great location, always lovely to be near the water. All the staff were so welcoming and friendly. The whole place smells amazing and is so clean. We had a wonderful stay and will be back again.

Loved this stay - great location, very safe, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Booked suite and space is brilliant and comfortable, kept very well and clean tidy , everything you might need. Breakfast is busy but staff are excellent and self service works very well.

The hotel is bright and airy. It was also quiet even when busy. The location is well placed for the city centre, Albert dock and tge Arena. The breakfast choices were good and catered for a wide variety of tastes.

Absolutely everything Staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was clean to a high standard, absolutely amazing breakfast buffet and they even offer complementary laundry service! We loved absolutely everything about our stay Shoutout to the girl doing the night shift when we checked in and to the Spanish lad. They were brilliant and lovely.

United KingdomFirst we shall talk about the tv.....Try staying in a hotel suite for 18 hours without entertainment!!!! Most people would hate it and so did I. They tried to fix it by wiggling a few cables....but apparently the maintenance team only work 3 mins a day!!! Of course I am being sarcastic but for the money I paid I expect EVERYTHING to be working. What would have happened if the shower had stopped working or the water stopped flowing.....I bet that would have been fixed. Oh but the manager sorted me out which I am truly grateful for. Secondly, and thus is not the fault of the suite...but I can totally understand why couples adore thus place. Its cute, it's by the docks with loads of restaurants and bars and a real loving, cute atmosphere. I am a single man and had to spend a fortune in taxis (my choice again I will reiterate) so I could go find some proper nightlife....so all in all I would stay here again for sure but if you are single I would recommend somewhere closer in the city (again an opinion)....if you are a couple you would be mad not to choose thus place as it and the docks are so romantic.
The suite was fantastic and clean and I would quite happily stay there again. The staff were very helpful but I did have one problem that they could not sort out, although when I checked out the manager did say if they had just rang him he could have sorted it over the phone so the problem wouldn't have continued and I thought that was quite poor on the staff at the time (although they were all really nice about it but it did affect my stay). However the manager sorted me out and I could not praise him enough during my stay as I had quite a few dealings with him and he was so helpful and pleasant at all times.
