I recommend some curtains for each bed ,helps a lot with the privacy

It's excellent value for money - you are smack in the middle of London. It's pretty basic, but the rooms and beds are clean. The bar downstairs is excellent value for money too.

Obviously a hostel, so limited facilities, however was clean and bunk bed reasonably comfortable, perhaps the only downside is the fact, the pub part is a very popular venue and the music tends to go on a bit too long 3.30am ish, that aside, the location was as central as you could get, excellent for starting your tour... Overall, generally pleasant place, possibly more suited to the the younger generation....

Showers are small, bathrooms are kind of dingy. Sometimes the app doesn’t work to get in the rooms and you’ll need to punch in the number code, and the locks can be a bit goofy. Once the bar is open for the night, most of the staff is drunk or at least tipsy. Could make late check ins difficult. THE ROOMS ARE HOT HOT HOT. And the fans don’t work. We had to Jerry rig the one in our room to stay up, otherwise it would have been uninhabitable, hot, and stuffy, since the windows only open a few inches. Bathroom floors are usually wet from the shower which is really nasty.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. People will always complain about the noise, but you’re upstairs a pub in London, what do you expect? Bring earplugs or take from downstairs. Otherwise, stay somewhere else. Apart from that, the bathrooms are kind of icky. Avoid the one across from room 3, the other, larger bathrooms with skylight windows are better but still not great. The showers are very small so if you are on the heavier side (or pregnant like I was) be aware you might have trouble getting in and out. Bedding is clean and comfortable, mattress was fine (again, I was pregnant so I’m a bit more sensitive than usual). You can rent a towel for £4, it’s a nice sized thick towel so that was worth it to not bring my own. They’ll also sell you an adapter if you need one for £3/4. I enjoyed the breakfast, not like what’s in the pictures though. They had toast, salami, ham, cereals, some fruit, sometimes tomato/cucumber, and a few other items to get you through lunch. Juice/tea was available as well. Wonderful location and easy to find/ get to from public transport.

There were no toilet rolls in the ,toilets and we ask staff for some since yesterday in the evening The said they were going to bring but didn't and we end up using our own until we check out today no toilet rolls,toilets not cleaned in the morning

Was very noisy and is located above a pub. Was aware that it was a party hostel and would be a bit noisey, but the windows in the room weren’t able to close. Rooms could’ve been a bit cleaner, but we’re not bad.

There’s no shared facilities like a regular backpackers would have - so not great for saving money on food while you’re there. Obviously the pub is open quite late and patrons make lots of noise, it’s easy enough to tune out with headphones.

The location is fantastic, a very short walk from London Bridge tube station and the Borough Markets. Pub food is good and the discount on drinks is great too.

The overall service and experience was satisfactory. Therefore, no complaints whatsoever!

Couldn't fault the location if I tried... Room and shower were clean enough and staff were very friendly, courteous, helpful never mind professional and polite. Noise pollution from music coming from the bar downstairs was minimal and bearable as well as can be expected in any establishment of a similar nature, therefore wasn't an issue for me the least bit. I was also impressed by the ovedrall cleanliness of the room, common areas and facilities. Would definitely recommend to anyone out there looking for good value for money.

Extremely loud music playing past 12 o o’clock during the week. Understandable during the weekend days but impacted my sleep and thought it should be quiet during the week.

The breakfast was good value for money as it was a buffet and there were eggs, bananas, orange juice and coffee included which is a good set up for the day. Thanks.

The bathrooms are very small and being directly above a pub, the atmosphere is very noisy.

I very well knew what a hostel is, but i was the only woman in a room full of men. (4 people room) the room smelled awfull (but i dont think its a mistake of the hostel..but the people in the room), so i ended up spending the whole night on the hostels corridor outside, slept on a sitting position on the stairs, as i was feeling super sick in the room from how horrible the smell was. My personal opinion is, if a booking comes of a woman, it will be nice to suggest putting her with other women, even on a bigger room than what was requested, as it is possible she will feel safer and more accomodate!

Very Helpful Staff, right on top of a Pub (actually the Hostel IS the Pub) which was very nice and a pint with live music was an excellent idea before sleep. The access system to the Hostel is very modern and makes you feel super safe. I was there only for 6 hours for a quick sleep between travelling flights.
