The house hadn't been cleaned properly for our arrival. There were dirty dishes left in the sink. The bedding was very messy and had a musty smell. Luckily we managed to find spare bedding and remade the beds as we didn't want to risk what could have been used bedding. There were numerous amounts of litter in the bedrooms including empty drinks bottles and cigarette packets. The "hot tub" was very dirty and the lid was covered in mould. We didn't risk using it. The downstairs toilet was taped up and wasn't usable. The kitchen sockets appeared to be dangerous. One had fire damage.

The beddings were old and bobbled. Definitely need to update that. The bathrooms lock didn’t work! The hobs only used induction pots so it was a hassle cooking.

Sure it was an oversight, but there wasn’t any toilet roll. Wasn’t sure if we needed to bring our own?

Loads of room, comfortable beds and front room, excellent oven and hob, plus loads of utensils, plates, glasses, cutlery. Lots of windows too - which I love, sea breeze through the bedroom.

Hot tub water was green.

Very nice location, lovely view out the front of the sea. Very close to Dymchurch and local entertainment. Also very close for our shooting location which was great.

The hot tub heater wasn’t working - and looking at the reviews we were not the only ones to have this problem. The house and garden in general hasn’t been well taken care of and basic essentials like hand wash weren’t available in the bathrooms and no locks on doors. The main issue I’ve had is the lack of response regarding the £50 deposit I had to pay which would be returned to me within 7 days. It has been nearly 3 weeks and I haven’t had it refunded, nor had any response to my messages or calls. I’ve waited to give them an opportunity to respond and return my money but still nothing. So be careful if booking as you might not get your money back.

The location was great, right by the sea and although basic and needing TLC the house did the job.

Spending my first 30 minutes in the property mopping up a leak in the utility room. Horrified to see the leak running down the wall from the upstairs shower next to the electricity board. No response from the owner when advised of this, other than a thank you message for letting them know. When reading previous reviews the ownwers were aware of this in June 2023 before my stay. Hot tub only working for short periods of time before switching off.

Beautiful location. A clean, comfortable property. Plenty of space for the guests. Very close to a beautiful, sandy beach.

Hot tub - yuk - was all green and disgusting- don’t advertise a hot tub if not usable! Rubbish outside of the property - looks like weeks worth of rubbish that is now over the pathway not a good first impression. Garden - needs sorting out as it’s not really a garden as it is

Downstairs was not comfortable for 8 people to relax in comfy chairs. There was no dining table to sit 8 people together. The bins outside were overflowing and looked a mess. There was no booklet about the facilities or area.

Position for us was excellent. The rooms were very spacious.

Overflowing bins at the front, on arrival. Dirty windows. Scuffs all over the internal walls. Patio doors not to be used. General wear and tear of the walls. Hot tub pump didn’t work; Tori advised pump shouldn’t be left outside during rain but when we arrived pump was already connected and had been left outside (pump did not work). Leak coming from Under upstairs bathroom, next to electricity box and left puddle on the floor.

this property has got so much potential, I think all the little details like the windows were filthy,, they should have had vertical blinds instead of the roller blinds, there were no light shades, only one mirror in the whole property, it could have been made a lot more homely, the garden was very messy and untidy, grass uncut ,there was no nice little extras like milk or bread or coffee, but these are all things that could have definitely been improved  on. unfortunately, when we arrived, the foxes had got to the bins and the property was clearly not cleaned properly…. it’s not her fault, in fact she was lovely, I think it is the fault of the cleaners, they did a very, very bad job if they cleaned at all? …, there were flies on the windowsills. The property was clearly not well kept. Such a shame. the property did not look nice on the outside at all. We were tempted to go back home but I’m glad we stayed.  luckily, the owner wavered the deposit for us, because it was almost impossible to do , otherwise we would not have stayed.

The location is right opposite the beach which is sandy and clean and perfect for dog walking.

The disrepair of the house , overflowing smelly bins outside , unkept garden back and front Unable too access the garden too use the hot tub , tried contacting and after two unsuccessful attempts of them saying they will look into it , no response Dirty floors with previous occupants supper on the floors , dirt stained seating in lounge , stained carpets throughout , Crumbs in oven and all over work tops , house is falling apart DO NOT BOOK THIS HOUSE !!!

The hot tub wasn’t hot, I turned it on at 15:30 and it was 22 degrees (Luke warm) I checked it at 17:00 and it was still luke warm so tried to turn it up but the buttons on it didn’t seem to work. I then looked for instructions but couldn’t find any. Then to top it off, the steak that we had got for tea had to be cooked under the grill because the hobs on the cooker didn’t work. There was an error code that kept coming on each time we tried to turn them on. The bins outside were overflowing, there was beer bottles on the floor and the grass was all really overgrown.

Fortunately only 2 of us so not a problem that one of the four dining room chairs was out of action. If we were a large group there would have been issues with numbers of items like knives, glasses.

The cleanliness of the property, the beds weren’t clean, hot tub didn’t work & was filthy, rubbish all out the front with maggots. Rubbish out the back, screws sticking out decking, decking broken. Garden unkept & not safe for child to play in. Windows was dirty, no lampshades in the property. The property hadn’t been cleaned properly, toilet smelt of urine& not clean. Bits all over the floors from not being hoovered properly, someone’s ear bud under the drawers in 3rd bedroom. Sweets left under the drawers in 4th bedroom. Curtains hanging off rails. Dust over the tv Fingerprints over light switches Sent a message to the management but wasn’t resolved had i of found somewhere else we would of moved, luckily we only had to endure this for 2 nights. Awaiting deposit back.
