Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

BelgiumI realise this is London, but the pricing per night is a bit on the high side, but overall acceptable. The wifi speed could be improved, but then again, I'm a heavy IT user, so my expectations might be a bit higher then most guests.
Just the whole welcoming by your staff, and the ease of getting checked-in. Always someone at the reception / bar to answer your questions or get you something from the bar / shop, anytime of day.

United KingdomStaff were a little pre occupied on arrival chatting and laughing between themselves then a little unfriendly. The room could have been cleaner. Second day Our room had been missed. I requested it cleaned but it was half a job. No fresh tea and used cups left.

United KingdomLack of a resturant, the space is there and the kitchens are there, you are missing out on having guests dining at the hotel, not everyone enjoys fastfood, whilst there are resturants nearby sometimes guest like to eat where they are staying after a long day visting London.

United KingdomWe have previously had a fridge in our room which we found really useful. In the bathroom there was nowhere to put our toilet bags. We also needed a hand towel each, as well as a bath towel, but when we mentioned this at Reception they were put in our room before we arrived back. We did appreciate the four hooks in the bathroom - very useful.
We thought the room was good and we were never disturbed by noise. The reception staff were efficient and helpful. I have to mention a lady who worked in the breakfast room. She was so helpful and although she was always busy she had a smile for everyone. I'm sorry I don't know her name. The breakfast was very good with a wide choice of all types of food. We have stayed in the Southwark area before and we found the position of this hotel really good for our purposes, with public transport at hand.

I stayed in hotel for 11 days, so it would have been better if the room was not near elevator. English breakfast would be nice addition, however I understand that it could be a challenge due to small breakfast hall.
