Karen was very friendly and welcoming, just as other reviewers have commented. Excellent breakfast, good room (offered upgrade by Karen on arrival), good car park, good facilities all round. We look forward to returning in the future.

Karen could not have been welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was very nice and Karen very kindly made up a sandwich to take out because I had an early departure.

Amazing location,clean premesis and then host karen is an amazing host .One of the best host i have seen.Always cheerful and too add on the breakfast is amazing.Would always recommend this place who is visiting Torquay.Cheers

Absolutely beautiful place, a few minutes from the main town and shops, room was very clean and comfortable, the whole place was very calm and peaceful, Karen could not have been more helpful if we needed anything at all, very warm and welcoming, we would definitely recommend this and we shall definitely be returning again. our stay at the southbourne villa was amazing the bed and bedding was fantastic had the best night sleep, breakfast was so yummy 10/10 and Karen the host was really welcoming and went out of her way to make your stay more memorable. our first wedding anniversary was definitely one to remember something me and my husband will remember forever :)

The fact that we had only one night in this beautiful house.

Karen was an exceptional host. As soon as we arrived it felt as though we were old friends. The room was absolutely beautiful and the bed very comfortable. The room we had breakfast in was a sight to behold. Just gorgeous! Breakfast also outstanding. We have travelled the world extensively over many years and this was favourite B&B experience.

Karen was an excellent hostess, nothing was too much trouble. Karen paid attention to detail, beautifully arranged towels, chocolates on the bed, an assortment of accessories and a beautifully clean room and bathroom. Breakfast was amazing and Karen cooked to order exactly how you requested. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again when in Torquay.

Can honestly say there was nothing we didn't like

EVERYTHING! Karen was a great host. Nothing was too much trouble. This b&b is in an excellent location. It was spotlessly clean, everything you needed for a relaxing stay. It's the little touches in the room/bathroom that made it special. Breakfast was faultless & plentiful. Looking forward to coming back in July
