Carpet was very dirty, found sushi sticks and dirt under the bed.

Good location - one minute walk to bus station. Quiet.

Little noisy in morning (but that’s to be expected with location) quite a lot of light comes through the room door.

    Central, value for money

A struggle to park. Free overnight parking (8pm to 8am) but ended up with quite the walk

Very central location so easy to get around Aberdeen (the docks, city centre and shops). No frills accommodation but cheap and good value for money

The water in the bathroom sink drained really slow so when washing hands stuff from the pipes came up. Would also love an elevator. And cleaning could be better.

Got a huuuge room, for a great price and in a great location. Comfy bed. Tv in room. Only noice came from outside.

Only slight downsides would be the bathroom had no where to hang your towel. And there was a weird something stuck to the shower floor. But don’t let that scare you off the place was very clean besides that.

The value for money was great! The building was very quirky (in a really good way) and the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were new and the complimentary tea and coffee were awesome. The staff were exceedingly friendly and let me extend my checkout time by an hour.

it’s an old building no double glazing on windows it’s so noisy from outside noise it’s not a traditional hotel as in door open you walk in when I arrived you had to press a bell, it’s very self sufficient reminded more of a guest house rather than hotel. the reception is not manned all the time I could not get tv to work went down twice first time nobody at desk second time it was boarded up so ended up calling landline from my mobile. there is no lift you have to go up two flights of stairs to get to first floor and I believe there is a floor 3 as I got offered that when they could not fix the tv but did not want to move as going up more flights of stairs

location close proximity to station friendly staff spacious rooms

A decent 2 night stay in Aberdeen

As with all the places I stayed during my 8 day Scotland trip, they don't seem to feel the need to inform you about the lack of lifts and horrendous stairs. I understand the buildings are old, but all single rooms are in the attic. Be ready for it!

The guest house is located in a vibrant area of Aberdeen; I didn't have to walk more than a few blocks to get everything I needed during my time there. Pubs, clubs, restaurants, and snacks.

There wasn't a proper reception area, so it was slightly odd checking in and then we couldn't find anyone who was able to provide us with a second set of towels (our neighbours had the same problem!). But only a minor complaint.

It was a decent sized room, the shower was good, it was reasonably quiet and in a great, convenient location. We liked the building and everything was fine.
