This hotel is less than 50 yards from Paddington Station. It is by far the cheapest hotel in the area. It is basically clean, beds are OK. For a quick one night stay, these two factors make up for the hotel's shabbiness and lack of any other facilities.

As with most of the older houses on London, the stairs are narrow and quite steep, when carrying more than 1 piece of luggage. 2 of the trains enter Paddington, just behind were I was staying and without double glassing and that part of the station being open, you heard every announcement and sometimes all night. Suggest you ask for a front room on London Street

- I mentioned this as a good thing but it's also a problem: "1 min walk from Paddington station" (you may need earplugs, nearby pubs, people playing soccer in the street late at night, travellers walking with their carry-on baggage, etc). - No elevator. - Very dated rooms and stairs.

- Excellent location (1 min walk from Paddington station). - Very good price (compared to other options in this location). - Comfortable bed and pillows. - We used this hotel just for sleeping and a quick night/morning shower (we spent those 2 days walking the city from 9 AM to 11 PM), so we didn't really need much... if you want/need more, this hotel is not for you (and you'll obviously have to pay more).

The room had been cleaned before I arrived (I could smell the cleaning products when I walked in hahaha), however the bathroom wasn't as clean as I would have hoped. One of the toilet papers had a strange dried yellow substance on it so I didn't use that one. I'm sure if I asked staff for another they would have replaced it but I didn't find it necessary. I wish a bathmat was provided as I didnt have a way to dry my feet after a shower. I stayed on the 2nd floor and my room window was directly over one of the platforms in Paddington Station, so I could hear all of the train announcements. I didn't mind it so much as I like ambient noise at night to sleep, but bare that in mind if you are planning on staying here - maybe invest in some earplugs.

I loved that it was just steps away from paddington station as I needed to use the tube a fair amount. The mattress was a spring mattress but I slept well with no problems - I grew up with a spring mattress so I was comfortable. The pillows were very comfortable and the sheets were clean. The price was superb considering the location and the fact I also had a private bathroom - its rare to find that in London. It was a small room but as a solo traveller I enjoyed it as it made it feel more cozy.

The area outside was nosiey but no a major issue for us

the hotel is so close to Paddington station it was great for us, other's may find the area a noisey but we did not mind, room was clean as was bedding etc, the mattress was soft for our liking buty not a major problem as were only staying one night. the staff were excellent can't praise them enough and very helpful and the cost of the room was really good value for money as could sleep up to 3 for just £110 a night which in London is amazing will be staying again when visiting London

Shower cold tap couldn't turn on so didn't have a shower as leaving early. Very steep stairs which the attendant carried my bags up for me but had to drag bag down in the morning.

The place could use some aesthetic repairs but that would cost money. The room was adequate.

The unit was clean. The bed was comfortable. The price was good. It is near Paddington Station. There is a lot of good places to eat nearby. The street scene in the neighborhood is fun. The building is secure. The staff was friendly and helpful. the TV worked. I never used the WiFi but I'm sure it is good.

Visitors should be made aware that the room door needs to be checked that it is locked as it can still be open when you leave to go out The bathroom door had a hole on the outside as it seems that it had been kicked in The bottom window doesn't open as it was a hot night.

Friendly staff and very helpful with carrying our luggage, okay for a couple of nights Excellent location, a couple of minutes to Paddington station. Despite the remarks left below, we would stay there again.

I guess you get what you pay for . A no frills basic bare accomodation.

The hotel was close to everything , great spot to be in . It was just a tiny room and tiny toilet but at least the bed was comfortable. Little table in the room and they had room service every day .

Hotel is very run down, especially the flooring in the room - but it's priced accordingly so can't complain. Room was directly above Paddington District Line station, who tested their emergency alarm at full volume at 4:10 AM - which was unfortunate and to be fair not the fault of the hotel.

Friendly staff, clean bed and bathroom. Convenient location. Reception open until late.
