Like other reviews, a bizarre unknown smell coming from the hallway all throughout the day and night. Lampshade in the room dusty and broken as if someone has gone to clean it but just left it broken, holes in the walls and scuff marks/food splatters everywhere, limescaley bathroom, dirty fingerprints all over the mirrored wardrobe and curtain rail falling apart/broken. 1 day after leaving I had to call and notify id left an item in the room, staff said they don’t keep any lost items and cleaners just throw unless we call within a few hours of checkout.

Friendly staff, fab location 10-15 min walk from Battersea Power Station. Main bus stop right outside the hotel.

The first thing you’re greeted with if being asked to read and sign a set of rules. It’s very unwelcoming and felt a little like staying at a hostel. I immediately wondered if I would regret staying at this hotel as it’s clearly much lower rate and cheaper than I thought. It’s bit like being told they assume I’m going to do something wrong. You don’t even have to sign a waiver at Travelodge! The mugs and cutlery provided also weren’t cleaned properly and an old used sponge was provided in order to clean them to use them. No thanks.

Staff not very welcoming. Room had dirty marks on the wall. No windows. The ambient lighting I could not switch off. The shower was scalding hot and temperature was not controllable so had no shower.

There was no cold water in the room, the water from the bathroom tap and kitchen tap constantly ran hot with no ability to control the temperature so drinking water was unpleasant. No shower curtain, no hair dryer. Website said there was 10% discount if you book direct but I couldn't get the code to work. I rang the hotel and they couldn't help with the discount so I ended up paying full price. The floor in the room needed a good scrub.

Good location for Battersea Power station and on a main bus route. Room was spacious with a large window. Bed was soft and comfy. Not too much traffic noise in our room. Small kitchenette was handy.

Bed was so hard and the mattress cover kept slipping off so you would wake up on the actual mattress. Need bigger mattress covers so this doesn't happen. Super hard to open and close bathroom door. But overall would probably go back

I had dark hairs in my towels about 3.5 inches long. Some cleanliness issues. A/C didn't work. Had error code on A/C panel and room was too hot for me (approx. 25 degrees all night)

One of the bedrooms was on the groundfloor, the noise of the AVAC system was terrible. They also put the sofa bed right next to the main bed with nearly no space to walk in between.

New towels were put in the bedroom, the service was better than the last time.

No window and air con dodgy. Bed could do with an upgrade and bottom sheet. Sheets were bobbly. Good for a last minute stay but slept on one side as the sheet had a stain on the other side
