A little warm in this part of hotel

Good value for a spacious room with mini kitchen and good sized bathroom

Not much.... none of the amenities advertised were in the room. The floor was dirty, windows were not soundproof in any way and the fridge was totally frozen and left open. Bed was comfy and linen clean. Could not sleep as cocktail bar across the road was pumping music on a Sunday night. No offer of any assistance but for 1 night could put up with it. Value for money, definitely not.

Had the executive suite. Didn’t quite seem as big or as good as the pictures showed. Shower head was broke- it didn’t stay held up to stand under. You had to hold it with you hand. AC did not work and there no windows to open. It was extremely hot and stuffy in the room which resulted in an awful uncomfortable sleep due to the temperature. V

Great location. Decent size. Good value for money(not including the broken ac and shower)

• I went earlier in the day to check in and drop my bag as I was attending a conference; the person at check out said I would be charged extra per hour for early check in? • I asked to leave my bag in a safe and secure place; he asked me to leave it on the aside in reception? This was not a locked room • The shower worked ok but it just gave boiling HOT water; the mixer tap and know did not work; I nearly burnt myself; • The sick in the bathroom was dirty and blocked; I had to wait for the water to filter through the plug; it came up with lots of grime • I was given a very noisy room facing the main road; it was noisy all night • The window in the room did not lock • Not very happy with the staff and my stay • The staff asked for copy ID and took a copy; no hotels take a copy now for GDPR; they may view it but I did not want to argue when I was allowed to check in at 10pm.

I didn't like that I needed to change the room. I booked a room via booking.com.. I booked a room that I thought should've been 22m2 but it wasn't. The other receptionist promised me a room with a window in the morning but I didn't get it. That was a disappointment.

I liked the second room but it was also without window. Bathroom was good.

Firstly the hotel is more a low three star than a four star. It's a shame because it could be nice and maybe the rooms upstairs are better. Our room was on the ground floor with a window whitened out. Nothing like the photo on Booking.com. When I asked to move rooms I was told family rooms are downstairs. I'd booked a triple and we were adults. The floor tiles round the loo were sticky (they did clean these for us). Front door scratched and really makes entering the room unpleasant. Curtains too thin so light from cars shine into room. We had to ask front desk for a hair dryer. The room itself is devoid of personality

The beds and pillows are comfortable. And the location is good.

odd smell in teh corridors - been the same both times I've visited. Strong cleaning chemicals maybe? Some areas looked a bit tired and could do with a bit of paint.

The first room that has been given to us was like a box with no window. We asked the staff if we can relocate somewhere with a window this was fine but with £15 extra. Got given disabled friendly room plenty of space which was fine but this trip was for leisure with fiancé so we would have loved somewhere else. Lights/lamps was not working. There is a table and chair available but with only 1 chair so me and my parter had to move the table next to the bed. The whole room needs repainting as some the wall have scruff and just really need an update.

Easy access bus stop just in-front of the hotel The staff are really friendly and the whole place is clean.

My friends room didn’t look like the pictures, room was a bit scruffy in general, smelt strongly of bleach when we first came in, getting out of the car park was a bit complicated

Room clean . However there is an awful smell inside the hotel . This has been noted by others in past reviews.This may be coming from the basement area up through the lift shaft. This will hopefully be sorted soon. Removal of smell will greatly enhance this hotel.

Tv was a nightmare (would keep turning off, no live tv only set pre recorded stuff). Burn Marion work top, stains and scuffs on the wall. Far too small a bin in the kitchen area, fridge has a horrid smell, which was also in desperate need of defrosting the freezer compartment. Marks on the headboards. No toilet roll holder. Seeing large bagged piles of laundry right across from our room and in full view of guests was not a nice sight.

Modern spacious bathroom. Good size bedroom Comfortable beds and clean sheets. Couldn’t hear the traffic.

Key didn't work on the door. Leak in bathroom. No door on shower area so water floods the bathroom. Towels had to be put down

Got a bit of a shakedown when I got there… could pay extra to check-in early at a rate of £10/hr or for a cash only sum could also check-in earlier… or bags could be left behind a bar (accessible to all visitors/guests) in reception so nowhere safe to actually leave bags! It also felt a bit off the beaten track although good bus network outside

Trouble with the access system to my room. Had to return to reception of 3 occasions to get them to reset card. Once the had to strip the magnetic lock and reboot it
