In nice location soo many shops and other public transport was near! Friendly staff and it was nice and cosy.

Housekeeping is loud in the morning and only 1 pillow per bed.

Wasn’t as comfortable sleeping wise as windows don’t really block out the noise outside, sounded like they were open. 1 pillow on each side of the bed, very thing but easily resolved as we found on the last day there was a cupboard with extras. Was expecting a double bed, in a sense we did get one, but it was two singles pushed together, which is very annoying in the night as you fall in between the two beds in your sleep. The cards/key picks and chooses when it wants to work on the door to enter the building.

Lack of lift for 4th floor which was challenging when pregnant. Shower is very mediocre, poor water pressure and couldn’t comfortably stand at 5’9. The shower would also flood whole bathroom if no towel laid. Doors also very heavy which slam so could hear other doors slam in the building. Walls also very thin as could hear louder convos of other guests. Bed was comfy on one side but not the other. Pillows also paper thin and no extras in wardrobe. Might’ve as well not used a pillow at all with the ones provided.

Good location for winter wonderland, cheapest in area by far. Good sized room, appreciated plugs next to bed and lights. Clean and self contained with a mini kitchen, cutlery and a TV.

Two single beds made into a double which was a little uncomfortable when we thought we were getting a proper double room.

Great location, very close to Lancaster Gate station. Daily commute to this location was easy. Bus 148 which is 24hr daily stops at Lancaster gate too. Friendly and pleasant receptionist.

The windows are single glazed and people tended to sit outside chatting in the early hours, could do with sound proofing to avoid the city noise.

Handy location and the room was well equipped. We only got one pillow each but requested more and got them straight away.

Having fitted the rooms with laminate hard flooring, there was lots of noise from the room above from people just walking around. There were patches of the room that really needed decorating. Also as a note - the heating was on FULL when I arrived which was incredibly uncomfortable! None of these things spoiled my stay, however, but they are things that could be improved upon.

Located very conveniently for both Paddington and Lancaster Gate tube stations. The rooms are big and furnished well. The kitchen area is separated from the sleeping area and whilst small l, had everything that I needed for my 1 night stay or would have needed had I been staying longer.

No elevator and vary narrow stairs , I had a room on the top floor and likely had just small suitcase, otherwise it would be impossible to get the top floor with huge suitcase . Also , very low pressure of water in the bathroom and it was cold in the room and bathroom . They do have an air conditioner but it is very loud and it’s not possible to sleep while it works . And everything is really old.

Unfortunately asked a month before for a lower level room but a room on the top floor was assigned. The room was not cleaned daily. They didn’t offer to help with our luggage in the stairs which are quite steep.

Windows are older style, can hear people outside and sirens - goes quiet around 1-2am but starts again around 7-8am. Could hear people above walking around (nothing to do with property itself) but annoying when trying to sleep. Sliding door on bathroom didn’t give much privacy, other person can easily see you sitting on the toilet, also no handle on the inside to close it. Sink in bathroom was EXTREMELY SMALL severely struggled to brush out teeth - you either hit your head on the mirror above it or stick your face completely into the sink.

Great location, nearest station was Paddington. Trains needed to access city centre but that was no issue due to prices of trains and ease of using them. Host was very accommodating for 12am + arrival, no issues at all! Rooms were warm too .. negative mentioned at tiny - would have no issues staying again as it is a budget friendly place - we were out of the room more than we were in it. Wifi was good too had no issues with jt

Room was great, very spacious and clean. It definitely exceeded our expectations! The location was great, a few steps away from Lancaster Gate tube station, which is in a central position to travel around the city.

Water pressure very low on top floor. No lift and 5 flights of steps wouldn’t suit everyone especially if you had a heavy case.

We liked the location as it was in walking distance to the main railway stations, bus network, shops & St John's church. The staff were polite, respectful and friendly. We loved that we were able to come and venture out at our leisure with ease. The microwave was really handy to heat/ cook meals of our choice. Access to wifi, tv, fridge, iron and a comfortable bed. A home from home feel and the hot shower was a real treat!
