The windows are single glazed and people tended to sit outside chatting in the early hours, could do with sound proofing to avoid the city noise.

Handy location and the room was well equipped. We only got one pillow each but requested more and got them straight away.

Having fitted the rooms with laminate hard flooring, there was lots of noise from the room above from people just walking around. There were patches of the room that really needed decorating. Also as a note - the heating was on FULL when I arrived which was incredibly uncomfortable! None of these things spoiled my stay, however, but they are things that could be improved upon.

Located very conveniently for both Paddington and Lancaster Gate tube stations. The rooms are big and furnished well. The kitchen area is separated from the sleeping area and whilst small l, had everything that I needed for my 1 night stay or would have needed had I been staying longer.

No elevator and vary narrow stairs , I had a room on the top floor and likely had just small suitcase, otherwise it would be impossible to get the top floor with huge suitcase . Also , very low pressure of water in the bathroom and it was cold in the room and bathroom . They do have an air conditioner but it is very loud and it’s not possible to sleep while it works . And everything is really old.

Unfortunately asked a month before for a lower level room but a room on the top floor was assigned. The room was not cleaned daily. They didn’t offer to help with our luggage in the stairs which are quite steep.

Windows are older style, can hear people outside and sirens - goes quiet around 1-2am but starts again around 7-8am. Could hear people above walking around (nothing to do with property itself) but annoying when trying to sleep. Sliding door on bathroom didn’t give much privacy, other person can easily see you sitting on the toilet, also no handle on the inside to close it. Sink in bathroom was EXTREMELY SMALL severely struggled to brush out teeth - you either hit your head on the mirror above it or stick your face completely into the sink.

Great location, nearest station was Paddington. Trains needed to access city centre but that was no issue due to prices of trains and ease of using them. Host was very accommodating for 12am + arrival, no issues at all! Rooms were warm too .. negative mentioned at tiny - would have no issues staying again as it is a budget friendly place - we were out of the room more than we were in it. Wifi was good too had no issues with jt

Room was great, very spacious and clean. It definitely exceeded our expectations! The location was great, a few steps away from Lancaster Gate tube station, which is in a central position to travel around the city.

Water pressure very low on top floor. No lift and 5 flights of steps wouldn’t suit everyone especially if you had a heavy case.

We liked the location as it was in walking distance to the main railway stations, bus network, shops & St John's church. The staff were polite, respectful and friendly. We loved that we were able to come and venture out at our leisure with ease. The microwave was really handy to heat/ cook meals of our choice. Access to wifi, tv, fridge, iron and a comfortable bed. A home from home feel and the hot shower was a real treat!

No secure luggage storage (luggage "stored" in a corridor all guests can access).. No tea towel for the kitchen. Mould in the shower. Broken window in lounge & no AC meaning it was hard to cool the apartment down. 4 flights of stairs & no lift. All bearable issues, and none were a deal breaker.

We were surprise not to be able to cook (breakfast) as that was our purpose of renting the apartment. Although on our side, we might have missed that they have discontinued cooking on the website. Also, we strongly suggest that they look into changing their mattress. It was sagging already and was really sore for the back. In our room, because it was on the top floor rm 18 ( ? Converted attic), the exhaust and smell of the sewerage was very prominent which was very unpleasant usually in the morning. Otherwise, all personnel were pleasant and helpful and it’s in a prime location.

The place was very central and quiet area. Reception personnel was very welcoming. The apartment was clean.

I would have added more things to the kitchenette. a dish towel was missing, a small cooker would also have been useful. a little more light in the bathroom, the shower is such a dark spot.

Room was big enough for two people. Bed was really comfortable. We've got room that was on ground floor and even though our windows were into the street, it was okay. Receptionists were all nice and helpful.

The noise levels was the main issue. The walls are paper thin so you hear everything. The cleaners were hoovering above us at 9.30am and it was so loud. We wore earplugs though which worked fine to block out the noise at night. The toilet door is just a sliding door with gaps at the side. It means there is no privacy when showering or using the loo. The room was quite dusty and basic but for the price I really can't complain as it did the job- we weren't spending much time in it.

Location is great, really close to Paddington station and the underground plus having Hyde park so close was amazing. The check- in time of 2.30 is ideal as most hotels seem to be 4pm nowadays. The price was really good- we couldn't get anything so central for a better price.
