Sound travels in the house: talking, doors closing, noisy staircase. I went to bed very early so used ear plugs.

I wasn't there long enough to cook but a good shared kitchen. The shared bathroom was very clean with a good sized shower cubicle. Car parking at front of property. Walking distance to food stores.

It didn't matter but the tv reception was poor - perhaps due to the heatwave. There was no plug for the washbasin. The table lamp could not be switched off from the bed.

Everything - it was very hot, so a charming lady called Nastrim provided a fan. Arrangements for the front door key were beautifully accomplished. The kitchen was SPOTLESS, and well equipped with all supplies shining with cleanliness. There was no milk for a cup of tea so dear Astrid went rushing out to buy some! The house was also quiet, peaceful and calm. I should like to stay there again as I also appreciated the price. Altogether, 74 Westminster Way, Oxford, amounted to a very generous provision of the best hospitality !

I booked a single bed room but owner put me in a double at no extra charge as a double came available. My room had fridge freezer, wardrobe, comfortable bed, Tv, armchair, desk. Very modern shared bathroom. Towel provided. Shared kitchen was modern, very clean well appointed and had everything I needed. My first ever stay in a Booking.com location and I can highly recommend this location for anyone visiting Oxford or surrounding area. Full marks.

The room could do with a mirror so that one does not have to be going to the bathroom for it. Plus the fridge needs to put turned on as it smells mouldy.

The location is in a very quiet area with not too much traffic.

Initial impression from the street was unprepossessing. Loose concrete slabs a trip hazrard when carting heavy luggage.

Was a bit further out than I expected, but good bus access and supermarket very close.

I had a little difficulty locking the door of my room; it tended to open again but that can easily be fixed. Also, for someone with a lot of stuff who would want to unpack all of it there might be a little problem with storage space as there is no closet (woudn´t fit in), only hooks and hangers for clothes (a quite sufficient number though), plus the space inside the writing desk. It was quite OK for me though.

The location is a bit off centre but that was more than accounted for in the price; the room is really nice, everything promised on the booking summary was provided, and I was pleasantly surprised that I could also e.g. heat food in the microwave in the downstairs kitchen as the use of the kitchen was not even mentioned I believe (it is true that it is primarily for long-term lodgers but I could use all the appliances). I must also mention that my host responded almost immediately to all my inquiries and was very helpful.

The room was very cosy and clean, it had everything I needed, also a table to work. I forgot to bring electricity adapter for British current, and the owner rescued me, by immediately responding and providing an adapter! it was crucial for me to be able to work. Thank you again! The bathroom was clean and had a very nice shower. The view is to garden, very nice. There is also a kitchen with another fridge (one was in the room). The location is nice, it is a bit far from the centre, but you can take a bus which is in front of the house. I prefered to walk, but you need to know it takes cca 45 minutes walking to the center, it is nice walk, you take a small tunel to avoid bigger road. It is no problem if you come late.

Everything was perfect.

It is a quiet and private room and you only have to share kitchen and bathroom with others. The room was tidy and clean, with a fridge and tv in it. The host was extremely helpful and responsible, though I never met him in person. Quick check-in. There is a bus stop, just 30 steps from the house, so easy to get to the city centre. Best choice if you don't want to be same room with strangers in a dormitory, with great deal.

I found the bed was a little small and the cover was a little too small for me. Somebody barged into my room one night and switched on the light. They apologised and left. Someone woke me up on my last night shouting in the bathroom. Perhaps they were a little drunk.

It was very near the bus stiop. there was a fridge in the room. the room was warm. The owner greeted me friendly. The amenities in the kitchen werre great, nice stove and fridge and washing machine.

amazing hospitality as the host lives 5min away. make sure to drive, it’s 5min by car and 55min walking because there is an overpass bridge for cars. Room was clean, in a residential area, quiet with self check in. shared bathroom and fully fitted kitchen with washing machine.

The room is very clean and comfortable, and I enjoyed staying there. The house is located in an area bit far from the city centre, but there is a bus stop just in front of the entrance. In addition,the owner was really warm and helpful!

Unfortunately there is only one en suite bathroom which is already let to a long-term occupant. However, the shared one (for three users) is exceptionally clean and was almost always free.

The bus stop to the train station and to the centre of Oxford is just a few steps away from the house. The owners are very kind and attentive to guests. They will respond by WhatsApp to any reasonable request almost immediately.
