Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomCouldn't reach the plug switch to turn the television on. However, this was very quickly rectified by Manager Martin who dealt with things professionally and couldn't do more to help. Issue resolved within minutes of mentionning.
Staff very friendly and welcoming. Professional throughout the stay, from Manager Martin, front of house and hospitality team. Room clean and cosy. Everything in there that you would need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast superb. One of the best breakfasts that i have eaten during a stay anywhere. Fantastic value for money. Really nice vibe and beautiful building. Restaurant looks stunning with Christmas decorations. Great value for money right in the centre of Liverpool.

We were on the 3rd floor and on the day we booked in there was a very strong drain smell up there on the corridor. The hotel is undergoing renovation but this did not affect us. We didn't book breakfast until the morning but the staff were amenable and gave us the discount offer also. Service was very slow in the breakfast room but we put this down to us having booked late. The full English was just what we needed. The parking discount was great, it reduced the 24 hour ticket from £24 to £12.

United KingdomOur room was located where the street noise was extremely loud. Windows are old and single glazed so there wasn’t much preventing music and party goers from keeping us awake for hours. No mirror in the room was inconvenient as there was only a standard over the sink mirror in the entire room.
Excellent location within a 5 minute walk to the centre. Also the hotel has undergone a recent refurb so the decor is beautiful and the facilities are lovely. Food and staff also excellent.

United KingdomThis of course is personal to me, but the lift was too small and a bit rattly. However I was able to use the stairs. It wasn't possible to eat there in the evenings, well not the nights I was there. The stair carpet needs a refurb, but I expect this is coming
My room was spacious and, modern with ample storage space. The available lighting options very good indeed.Loved the shower room, which had a good shower and plenty of hot water. The whole place was very clean. The staff were exceptional, helpful, and warm, without being over the top. This hotel is undergoing refurbishment, I was in an updated room. There is a wonderful staircase, grandeur from another era. The restaurant is also beautiful. Location good, about a 10 minute walk from Liverpool Lime Street.I am a sole traveller and felt very safe in this hotel. I was able to leave my luggage, before check in. I recommend this hotel.
